Are these just a black version of the denim pair from a couple of years back...because they sure look like it in that Pic

Anyone figure out a way to stop III’s from squeaking so much? It’s the plastic tab in the back that causes the issue. Back when I had the fear III’s I cut that tab off but I don’t want to do that anymore. The noise prevents me from buying new III’s so any help would be appreciated.

I put this in the same tier as the Navy Blue joints that dropped in December, in that I only want a pair on sale, but will probably be gone in my size by the time that discount hits.

Hoping there are pairs in November in case I strike out on the black cements and I need a consolation prize.
