I've been using the plastic covering they give you when you get your clothes from the dry cleaners. I found that works better than grocery bags and and often better than the OG paper stuffingMany good tips here, I always stuffed the toebox with plastic bags like the ones from Walmart.

The fix? Shoe stretcher with the little add-on nubs and a harbor freight heat gun. Custom fitted and ready to rock in 1hr or less
