So, the 85 high has a thicker sole in regards to the comfort compared to the regular OG high?I would rather have this shape than those 2025 Breds.

They are the same, only difference is the 85s have that curve on the mid part of the mid sole and the 2015s “OG high” has straight mid sole. So, the 85 high has a thicker sole in regards to the comfort compared to the regular OG high?
2020Are those the 2016's?
The 85 is slightly more narrow than the OG high but not because of the curved midsole. For example the Reimagined Royals have a curved midsole and aren’t any more narrow than a regular OG highI always wondered if that the curve on the middle of the midsole on the 85's make the sneaker feel different underfoot?
So in laymen’s terms, they still feelThey are the same, only difference is the 85s have that curve on the mid part of the mid sole and the 2015s “OG high” has straight mid sole.
Not quite as bad. My metallic red highs feel a bit better imo than the standard high OGs.So in laymen’s terms, they still feel
Like you’re walking on the pavement?

The 85s do have a different insole than the OGs. It is polyurethane but not as firm/bouncy as what is used in air ships.

That’s going to be the deal breaker on next years release. I sold my Chicago L&F’s simply because of that issue. Honestly, o don’t see how people can walk in the OG hi’s on a daily bases. From what I remember, AF1’s feel much better than Jordan 1’s as far as underfoot comfort. I have t had any AF1’s since 2002.
I do that with all basketball retros. Spenco PU insoles or bust. I’ve never found 1’s to be all that uncomfortable though.I usually change the insoles of my 1's
doesn't make them super comfortable but def better than the stock insole
Wow i didnt even know the reimagined Royals had that. I'll have to check that out on my pair. The 85 is slightly more narrow than the OG high but not because of the curved midsole. For example the Reimagined Royals have a curved midsole and aren’t any more narrow than a regular OG high
I thought about grabbing a pair of these now that the price has come down.I would rather have this shape than those 2025 Breds.
I have the neutral greys, but heard the varsity reds are worse.I would say the 85s feels like you are walking on a pavement then the OG highs, ive been wearing my og highs to death and my feet never felt hurt, for the 85s i bearly wear them because my feet hurts.
Well those 85 Highs I think were the first to release in that variation, the black/red 1 2025's are supposed to be more comfortable, hopefully thats true.I would say the 85s feels like you are walking on a pavement then the OG highs, ive been wearing my og highs to death and my feet never felt hurt, for the 85s i bearly wear them because my feet hurts.
Damn, those look good. Might have to go back and pick these up now that prices are settling back to reality.
Yes the resell price went downThis post made me head straight to Goat to check the 2020 pair prices and I'm quite shocked.
