Unless JB actually went and updated the high '85 model with this release, I'd expect retail pairs to look like these in terms of cut and shape. We'll see though.

From all the pics we've seen of the 2025's, they retooled the midsole to make it more like the OG's (with the little bump midway through), and also made the swoosh bigger.
With that said I don't think they'd be exactly comparable to the pair you posted.

So JB actually did make adjustments to these? I'm glad. I'm not as quick to bust out the magnifying lenses when it comes to 1s compared to the models I like more. In my eyes as long as they are on par with the current mould, that's enough for me but I'll gladly take even better tooling and other revamped details. I'm glad to hear that the Black/Reds are gonna be different, in a good way.
