1985 pairs that will all end up in the hands of resellers who will mark these up for double or even triple the price. I'd have been more hopeful if these at least were seeing 23,000 pairs, or even 19,850 but under 10K? JB and all the resellers that will inevitably charge like $500+ for these can choke.

These will be instant 4 figures like Off White Jordan 1s were if the stock is that low. Plus the release procedures of these Tier 0 stores are about to be super janky...I can feel it.

Collectors won't hesitate to pay extreme resell because reps of these don't even exist yet and won't be perfected. They can't get the 85 shape right at all...especially with this new attention to detail and leather thickness. StockX and GOAT rubbing their palms together right now like Birdman smh

Won’t even have a shot at retail, but retail or bust. Nike/JB want to use this release for marketing/hype, fine. I get it.

I don’t like the strategy, though, and I’m not buying the BTs as a consolation prize. On to the next. Just my opinion.

I sold one a few months back. Still sitting on a couple, plus my 2001 pair. Would've been nice to own the 85s but I don't buy resell. The super minimal numbers and select doors they'll be sold in its not even worth wasting my time.
