Jordan Retro 1 '85 Black/Red Feb 14th 2025

Some people, are just straight up delusional, thinking that the average resale price was going to be $1,000. You might get them at that price, if you’re well connected to the right people, who don’t want to screw you over to bad. At only 10k pairs available, y’all are lucky to even get them at $1500 - $2,000, because people are going to be willing to spend on these, especially considering how limited they are. This is basically a resale release/shoe, where people are going to be getting taxed, well over $2,000 in my opinion. Certain Travis 1’s go for 1k to 2k easily, and those came out at in between 30,000 to 100,000 pairs on average.

$2,000 will be average, if you’re lucky, because the majority of everybody buying, are going to be charged $500 to $1500 fresh out of the store. Only employees, and a few lucky customers will actually get these at $250.
Nahh.. full size runs right now on goat and stock x for 1100 and most top offers at around 7-900 and that's almost a 3 weeks out. The initial shock will keep them around 1000 probley til release but after that they will trickle down like even Travis's do. Now 2 or 3 years down the road? Who knows..

If this was the plan of the new Nike CEO he isn't going to last long either.

The youth do not care about Jordans anymore. Nike would be better off just releasing high quality GRs of the Iconic models and let collabs be the limited thing and just being more proactive with who they choose to collab with.

I believe they are saying Royal 85s are dropping this yr too?
I think this is still the outcome of the former CEO. We probably won't start seeing changes until 2026 to be honest.

Ouch, I wouldn't even have posted about it.
Eh, it's only money. I also paid about $900/ pair for three of the black ones and an additional $1k for two other white ones because I forgot I had put up bids on multiple stockx and goat accounts

A limited "celebration" of the Air Jordan 1s 40th anniversary with no Flight Suit, no Wings warm up suits and short sets, no B rolls of Nike film and photography of the commercial shoot, no references to Vandals, Air Ships, Terminator or AJKOs. Nike has an NBA license yet no 84/85 cursive Chicago swingmans. They can't even manage to get Michael Jordan himself to be pictured in the shoes and to have words of reflection about it's history. Then again I should of seen it coming when Nike did absolutely nothing groundbreaking for its 50th anniversary 3 years ago except getting lapped by Hoka and On Clouds. This is the type of leadership I refused to support when I made the decision to stop buying Air Jordans 11 years ago. Many of you have a right to be frustrated and look elsewhere. When they made the announcement last spring about these releasing I heard multiple chimes of family sizing and GR. This is the same last minute switcheroo they pulled with the 2013 Black/Gold 1 release. Looks like I have struck out before even making a plate appearance. Oh well. I feel grateful for the memories owning this shoe in 94, 01 and 13. My Tiempos are good enough for me!

$2k+ sound crazy but I think dude made some valid points.

If Travis joints are around $1k and release around 100k pairs, why do yall think these won’t double that at only 10k pairs?

It only takes one or two of the right celebrities to wear these in public and the price will skyrocket.

If Travis Kelce is caught wearing them in a photo with Taylor Swift, then we’re all f**$ed.
T Swizzle effect :pimp:

She’s a woman for the culture and got good credit! Yessir!! 🔥🔥🔥:pimp:

Travis is a dweeb and whether people want to admit it or not only certain types of cats go for his shoes

his shoes are over inflated in value from younger kids who dont have jobs
