Do they even have fakes of these yet?

Can I get a quick LC? They look good to me, just want a second set of eyes.
Mind doing a close up of the lace bag to see if there are 4 lines above the bag opening?

Where did you cop?
Yup, here's a shot looks like it checks out. Not in my hands yet, but I'll be buying from a local from a Facebook group. Thanks again!
Lace bag looks good. After reviewing the photos u posted, my only concern is the tongue - the upper two sections look to be the same size, which is something prevalent on fakes of the '16 Banned 1s. On retail pairs, the top rectangular section is distinctly smaller than the lower section. Although it might just be the angle which the photo was taken. See below:

My pair from footlocker:

^ Interesting observation. Well, I guess we're gonna chalk this one up to Nike's well known factory variations then... kinda like the "le term" and "le terme" inconsistencies we saw on retail Banned 1 pairs

bro why are you calling me out? not salty at all...was on the site before everything was sold out and decided to pass. only reason I would have bought anything was to resell because I don't double up on shoes, so I passed because I was skeptical. that was my choice. I'm not mad at anyone who took the risk and had it pay off

the one thing I did do in this thread is share the link. that wasn't out of saltiness or trolling. everyone is giving whiplash props but he's the one who I saw originally share the website. I did the same thing and people got anxious telling me to remove it because they wanted it all to themselves. it was lame
Ok. I may have been slightly overzealous. Sometimes we forget they are only shoes. Looking at your subsequent posts, you seem like a decent fellow. My apologies for the insult. However, if you don't see why it is illogical to post the link that originally was pm'd, refer back to the Beyoncé DTF example. A lesson well explained. The original philanthropical brother who posted the links, he has no issues to pm anyone who asked. No selective criteria. No 'you're cool, you're not'. All you had to do is pm him. 60% of people on NT aren't members. You can check out this info by going to the home page, and looking at the current active users/guests. Whatever these guests are, I don't know. Resellers, kids, Sneakerhead whatever. Not worth contemplating. People are joining everyday. It's not difficult. Niketalk is a community for Sneakerheads. Quantity is usually limited for most hyped releases. If a brother can directly help another Sneakerhead get some kicks, without the source having to be announced onto the World Wide Web ( which creates a free for all), for no personal gain except reputation, kudos to him.For someone to sabotage his attempt to do so, is disappointing. There have been a few people trying to do that. You must now see why I thought the same of you. It should be clear now. Since you have said that was not your intention, but you still defend posting the link, then it's a bit of a conundrum. Enough of this. I will post my on feet pics today. Couldn't get green laces yet, so I've tried something else. All the best to the best of you, and the not so best of you.

Why is it important for you to know specifically which location then? There's a reason you want to know. Otherwise, if you didn't have an agenda, the fact that people here are already receiving their pairs and saying they're legit should be enough testimony to prove their legitimacy.

For what other reason other than your own agenda do you need to know the locations?

Do you honestly believe they will reveal where/how they source their pairs if you message them and ask? LOL

I agree with this. Don't give up anything. All that matters is that pairs turned out being legit and you helped many NTers find a new plug. If one Chatty Kathy hadnt dropped the name of the site in the thread, many more of us NTers could have prospered in the future.

I for one am glad i took a chance on blind faith and now i will be rewarded for it. I struck out bogus on Villa and SNKRS. my pair comes in today from Kdak and i will get a lot of wear out of them

It's crap like this that keeps me from being more active in sneaker threads. This thread reaks of smugness :lol

befoore we bring it back to the shoes can we stop pretending like at a glance that the site doesn't look suspect as hell. If you've been collecting Jordan's fog atleast 5 years or more common sense and experience tells you not even to think about sites that look like that one. Point blank period. Whether legit or not. 99.9999999% of the time any site with lots of stock of sold out kicks, preorders for kicks that haven't come out yet at lower than average prices on a big cartel site is selling fakes. I remember my days in the Jordan legit check section where people would literally laugh at cats posting bigcartel sites that look just like that. Especially one that isn't widely well known. Experience told a lot of people not to bother so they didn't. So let's drop the smugness. The site turns out to be legit? That's awesome you guys found a gem and got some good kicks for a good price. But just like with anything in the sneaker world, if it's good it'll blow up. Nothing stays under the radar forever. No matter how tight lipped you are. Look at the solemartyr script fiasco with adidas. You have to evolve with the game.

thank you some people just need to say they were wrong and move on. once someone like solelinks gets that info it becomes useless.

a member thats been on here told people it was legit and their money is paypal protected. The worst that could of gone wrong is their money is tied up for 3 -5 weeks. So people trolling was was waste of time. Some people were acting like cats done paid with western union. True it will eventually blow up, but let members feast before it does no need to rush to ruin a good thing.

I didn't start seeing people caping for the site until after the one link was posted and already sold out. Again 99% of the time I come across a bigcartel site that looks anything like that I don't even waste my time because 99% of the time they're fake. This one wasnt? Great. But I'd put my experience over 1-2 members that I don't know personally every day of the week. And that's no offense to them either. I had my pairs secured already so I wasn't dying for one. But I can completely understand why people didn't even attempt to purchase just by looking at the site.

I've got no issue that people took the risk. It's the tone of the thread that's annoying.

I remember in the Chicago thread retail pairs had the same issue with the tongues.

Sidenote glad to hear 13' is considered OG status. S/O yo all the OG TRIPPLE OG's jaja

No, what's annoying is people ASSUMING a site isn't legit and smearing them BEFORE they know the facts, and that's what happened.

Sure when you strip context and nuance from it. But if you've been in the sneakergame for long enough it's 100% reasonable for red flags to go up when looking at that site.

In a time where high quality fakes are literally as numerous as legit pairs, and pushers of high quality fakes using a similar selling format why wouldn't why wouldn't people be skeptical.

This I gotta agree... if I had stumbled onto that site outside of NT i wouldn't even consider it, but the skeptics were pushing to hard.[emoji]128526[/emoji]

Eh, the whole thing seemed sketch. Member finds a site on clist a week ago and in 5 days knows the sellers business model, what they charged for 72-10s last year and vouching for a company they hadn't even received product from yet. It really seems dude is far more involved that stated. If it had been an eBay seller with 0 feedback the situation would have played the same. Some would have taken a chance while others would have said stay away. On to the black toes :smokin

For those wanting an even trade banneds for these SBBs, don't. Banneds so much better looking, they classics and decent enough quality. You'll regret it. Unless you had an extra pair.

Westbay actually reached out to me this morning without me contacting them.

Letting me they were swamped with order but that my SBB 2.0 was being shipped today none the less.

Top 3 is on their site now for a really good price if they are as limited as they are claimed to be

Just saw them.

Man... although a few other NT members already got pairs from them, I am still a bit uncertain until I get my SBB 2 order.

Once those arrive and check out, I will be ordering the Top 3's from them.

I've been in the "sneaker game" longer than some have been alive here. No excuse for smearing a site/company without facts to back it up.

Saying this site is suspect isn't smearing it in my opinion. Like mentioned above, I'd approach the situation the same way if it was a zero feedback eBay seller
