That's true. The problem I've been seeing lately on SX is a lot of fake bids. Like I don't even know how that's a thing. Like I'll take the highest bid and rather than get an order confirmed screen, I got your ask is live. Not all the time, but some of the ones I'm trying to move

Oh gotcha and yea, you got the right idea. Just meant that when I usually offload some stuff I have sitting around, that's the issue that I encounter. Personally don't have one of those drop off locations for goat/sx but I can see the convenience and the reassurance of knowing that it got to the location directly and vetted for by the company directly.
Is that what it is? I just always assumed it was people using vanilla visa gift cards or something. The shoes I just unloaded with this situation was for 270 bucks. I can see cc blocking a transaction if it's higher in the 1k range, but idk. My cc has never declined sx or goat before, but maybe that's a sign that I buy way too much
Have you ever spent 1000? I recently had a bid accepted for ts dunks at 1k and my cc blocked it and called me....the sale was on my buying page but got an email to update my card info....at that point the sale was a wash...glad it did cause it was straight up impulse and I said f it.....my card in question has 14k limit.....but its new because ei got 18 month 0 interest....my old cards they knew my spending habits and never blocked things... I don't mind the security....
I had a bid up for F&F Parra for $1500. Sat for months. Woke up one morning to an email saying the charge was blocked and to call Chase. It looked like the seller listed them at $1500 after my sale failed and someone else bought them before I saw it. Took me 3 more months to get a pair and had to pay $1700.
I've spent over 1k on at least 3 pairs on shoes last year. I thought it would've pre-authorized a charge when putting a bid up, but maybe that's not the case. I've had no issues with my ts1 high, ts1 low, and ts6. Oh guess there's also satin black toes but 3 of the 4 are terrible buys in hindsight. My cc also didn't block supreme rimowa, which I would've hoped it did lmao
Find a good 0 interest card and use it untill the 0% is up and then apply for a new 0% card....best way to save yourself money and not pay interest....
