FTL (canada) sent me a “we’re working on your order!” email yesterday around 5pm but it still hasnt shipped...a separate order i made for something else this morning at 6am shipped at 5pm today...getting paranoid my order’s gonna get cancelled...

Just finally got a chance to look at my pair, never opened the box until now. I have absolutely no complaints quality wise, no flaws. Seems like they used better PL than they did last year, the playoffs had the worst quality PL out of any of the remastered pairs in my opinion. I was definitely a bit disappointed by that last year. The “leather” on the heel is definitely a bit better too. I also noticed the carbon fiber plate was back to what I was used to, once again last year on the breds it just wasn’t up to par for me. Also included some pics of these with the ‘16 SJ since a lot of folks felt there was overlap with these, I disagree. The jams for me still had the best quality PL since they remastered the model , the cut was just thicker than what they’ve given us since. The actual thickness of the PL not the height of it on the shoe. I like these. I Initially said I’d pass, the only reason I decided to cop was because I sold my 72-10’s a couple years back, regretted it, and felt that these would be a suitable replacement. I refuse to pay resell for a pair of XI’s with the old shape, even if I liked them. Just can’t do it.

I always thought that they used a lower cut PL on the kids, here is my son’s playoff 11s from last year.... I don’t know maybe it seems that way because of the small size?
