Pair I got from FTL on RD was flawless but I've seen some QC issues here and there. I want to double on these so bad but I have 2011's and these don't fall apart so easily.

Back then, I felt that they did the yellow ring to distinguish them from the white/black in the event that someone may paint the white tampon/whisker areas black.
Nonetheless the gold ring is/was a nice touch.
I remember when they dropped around that time man they were so much in demand and heavily worn in my junior high school. The first two drops being white based and now you got a blk. 1998 forever.
