Yeah I with you.  I WISH Jay would have done some more of his not so popular songs.  Like songs on Reasonable Doubt or American Gangster, but I have been to some of his concerts where he has performed some of those songs so it's cool.  Both Jay and Kanye left alot of songs on the table.  Just knowing that they could have gone another hour or so with more new songs.

Jay always does his pop singles and it makes me furious. I hate it, he'll do like 1-2 songs that aren't singles but it's weak. I lost it for "Where I'm From" he usually only does the first verse some dumb !%% reason.
HAM is great, loved that song since day one. Happy they did it. Songs like "New Day, Made in America, Welcome to the Jungle" the crowd was absolutely dead. IMA would have got the crowd going. Never liked Jay's song selection for concerts. That was the first time I saw Kanye and will DEFINITELY go when he goes on the road solo. I was really hoping for more songs from his last album "Devil in a New Dress, So Appalled, Dark Fantasy"

Jay-Z is - surprise! - an international pop star, and alot of people who go to his concert are mainstream music listeners, not simply the die-hard Jay fans. He's always mixed in his lesser known songs before in concert but he's gonna mainly play his most known songs, as he should.

I watched the Throne (the name that Kanye West and Jay-Z decided to anoint themselves after dropping the album of the same name) last night at the Verizon Center. What a show. The energy was on a hundred, thousand, trillion the whole night. I’d wager that about 90 percent of the crowd stayed on their feet for the entire two-plus hours long show. I know I did.

I suppose it’s not surprising given the catalogs of both Kanye West and Jay-Z. Jay reached as far back as “Where I’m From,

So it's been brought to my attention the Vegas show is the ONLY show on Ticketmaster's website that says "THIS IS A 4 HOUR SHOW" I wonder if that show is going to be extra special or if they're just saying this so people dont stay down at the casino getting drunk trying to be seen and actually go in the show

I don't think he's done it any of the shows yet... but if Jay does Heart of the City when I'd go I would be SO happy. When he did this at Comerica last year it was by far my favorite part of the show. When the whole crowd was singing along to it at the end... great concert moment.
