Kanye YEEZUS Tour With Kendrick Lamar (NEW DATES ADDED 10/22)

Doesn't surprise me TBH. The ticket prices are pretty damn high when you consider how many people in America dislike Kanye, and that the album had ZERO promotion.

Casual fans aren't spending 150 for lowerbowl tickets.

Also adding second shows for some stops didn't help. Mabe in Los Angeles or NYC it works, but there's no need for a second show here in Toronto. Same thing happened for WTT and I know plenty of people that were given random free tickets to fill up space.

@SwagKingCole the only reason I went to the show was because tix were so cheap. I drive out from LA to Vegas for the show. I saw tix as low as $9, which really surprised me. I saw some GA tickets for $70 on stubhub. Dude above posted that he got GA for $50 an hour before the show.
Just depends on the city. He was in LA the day after and the tix I saw were pretty much face value. I was very surprised at how many empty seats I saw at the Vegas show

word... 8o imma see whats good with the anahiem show then.. if ga is below 100 im def going again..
It wouldn't surprise me, but I wouldn't count on it. LA sold better than other markets, hence why they added a 2nd and essentially 3rd show in Anaheim. But it getting rescheduled, and Cali Christmas being so close, you may be able to cop some day of for the real low

i paid 150 and was not as far as thought i'd be, it was section 118 at staples.

i have a crappy phone but this was how close i was.

i could feel the heat from the pyrotechnics too.

i wouldn't be surprised if kanye cancelled the rest of the tour or turned it into a good music thing.

that last LA show was his best of the tour.

Was right on the other side, section 114 :hat And those pyrotechnics was no joke, felt like my eyebrows was gonna singe or something lol. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, really great view

Before entering this thread, I had no idea how many dudes were really into pyro's and the heat level at concerts.  Which to me is a clear indication that the heat bill is not being paid where you dudes live at, but be that as it may it's what you dudes look forward to at a concert.  You dudes might want to look into purchasing a portable heater.

I have a feeling rest of the dates go on as planned, we will def no more by Thursday, when the first Chi show takes place....I am happy cbus is on the 9th, inbetween the first and 2nd chi show on the 10th
My date is Dec 5 so I have a while comes my way

:lol ****** need visuals to listen to music now?

I didn't know your eyes played a part in your hearing.

I admit, I enjoy over the top concerts etc etc as well. GITD was dope as ****. But it is unfair to the people in the cities that are postponed, who may have scheduled work or something around the show.

"The show must go on" as they say. But dealing with the diva better known as Kanye, it won't, until he has his ******g croissants.

Everyone doesn't have all the time in the world to wait for Kanye like some of you. Some people have other priorities, and the people who wait it out don't deserve the concert any more than those who can't wait it out.

These types of things should be planned for. You can't make this huge over the top performance and not have a backup plan in case of hiccups.

So Kanye postponed some shows because a video screen is broken.........
laugh.gif
.   I guess some folks really do need a crutch in order to perform.
Son quiet down. That man has every right to maintain his vision. Its his damn show.
This is the exact nonsense that some of you Kanye fans subscribe to and sign up for.  It would be understandable if Kanye had a family emergency or something along those lines but to postpone a concert due to a broken video screen is preposterous.  The only time people gather in a large indoor setting to look at large video screen is when they go to the movies, not to a concert.

Most importantly, I'm quite sure some fans are inconvenienced with the schedule change.  Now you have people that have to adjust their plans because Kanye isn't able to use his video prop/aid to help him get threw his show.  As long as Kanye has a working voice and a working microphone that should be all he needs to perform/rock a show, but that appears to not be the case.  Kanye postponing shows cause he can't give a power point presentation and some of you dudes are just going right along with the program like that's cool.  Did you dudes purchase tickets to a rap concert or a movie premiere??  Might want to check your receipt.
You're tripping. So you're telling me if you schedule an appointment to see your doctor and he has to reschedule because some of the testing equipment he is using is malfunctioning at the moment, you gonna be upset because he's looking out for the best interest of you ? It's more so of a business move then anything...

I mean if the screen being broke postpones a concert, obviously the screen is pretty important for the set. He just wants everyone to experience the same show and for it to fair to everyone.

I understand ppl have other things to do blah blah blah, but hey they signed up/paid to go to a concert and postponing is apart of the game. Pipe down and let Yeezus cook *****.

So according to what people are posting on Twitter (didn't really read this thread to catch up yet)
but they are saying "There was no accident. The 3 cities with the postponed dates had extremely poor ticket sales and were not anywhere close to being sold out. IF there was a real accident, the screen would take 60days+ to remake. That is why there is only "3 postponed cities" and the rest of the tour is ok"

I don't know what to believe, I just expect the whole tour to be postponed.

First off champ, that was a piss poor analogy that you tried to tie in with my statement, I mean that was really........really bad.  To the point that you should be ashamed of yourself if you aren't already.  Even while looking at the basis of your argument, a doctor NEEDS to have functioning testing equipment in order to diagnosis the health problem or to draw an educated conclusion on the matter.  Functioning testing equipment is ESSENTIAL in order for the doctor to perform their job.

In the case of Kanye, a LED screen is not NEEDED nor is it ESSENTIAL for this concert to take place.  I'm sure it is something Kanye wants to have in order to give his fans more of an experience or even to help cover up some of his own shortcomings as a performer possibly, but either way Kanye can perform without the LED screen, he just chooses not to.

Also, some of you dudes gotta realize that some people are busy or have busy schedules and don't have time to waste on postponements.  Some folks might have been flying into town for one of these dates, hotel rooms might have been booked, and babysitters might have already been reserved for these nights.  Now I know some of you ****** that don't do much or don't have alot going on probably can't relate but there are some of us that have things on the books already, weeks if not months in advance that we don't want to change our personal schedules around over silliness, and yes Kanye postponing concerts due to an LED screen supposedly being broken (key word "supposedly") is silliness.

I mentioned this a page back, from personal experience.

I copped club seats the day they went on sale. as of right NOW, the seats next to me are still available.

Couple that with the fact that Living Social was doing deals on pairs of tickets.

Only thing is... there is a supposed picture of the wrecked truck. and you'd imagine they'd just cancel the 3 dates, instead of "postponing" them. I guess a cancellation might still be in order..

cancellation of booked dates would cause Kanye and his team to compensate the arenas/venues for possible lost revenues. they are better off post-poning the dates

word..I hear you.

they still need some sort of resolution on the 3 dates though.
will they be rescheduled or still cancelled?

The whole screen incident sounded like a front to me too. I didnt hear anything about it in the news

its not really news worthy. entertainment segment at best

blogs, gossip sites are really the only ones who ran with it

I for one hope that the concert goes on at its og date but i can't knock him for postponing it due to a vital part of the set being damaged.

If the guy has planned for months with a team, spent thousands upon thousands of dollars to create an experience and that is now damaged then it's easy to see why he would do it.

Over and over again people seem to think that ARTIST work for them.... yes an artist wouldn't be rich without the fans, but fans should only become fans if they appreciated the person's artistic vision in the first place. Kanye obviously takes his shows very serious and has a certain vision in what he wants to create and display... some people love it some people hate it but at the end of the day it's HIS vision in which case he has the right to want to perfect that.

Nooooooo Chicago :{

http://www.fakeshoredrive.com/

Last week, news broke that select dates on the Yeezus Tour we’re being postponed due to an auto accident involving the 60-ft circular LED screen that was damaged beyond repair. In the press release from Def Jam, they stated that the Vancouver, Denver and Minneapolis dates were officially postponed, but there was no word on the two Chicago dates for this week, November 7th and 9th.

Well, official word just came through from @MontaStocky via a source at the United Center that the Chicago dates are postponed until further notice. So everyone saving up to cop that Yeezus merch this week might want to keep that money under the mattress.

The Kanye West shows that were scheduled for Thursday, November 7th and Saturday, November 9th have been postponed until further notice.

We’ll keep you posted on Yeezus’ return to Chicago.
