Yeah if a black man standard *** wavy caeser or fade made you start doing questionable things that was already on your spirit.

Also I see why he moved on to women, the men were even bigger *****es and argued more. Funny psychological observation though how much more receptive and submissive the women were to the point where the audience grew vs arguing with hard headed dudes who haven't accomplished ****.
He definitely mentioned that he was going to stop taking in males callers during one of his old shows. Dudes would just ramble endlessly and always want to be right. Listening to them, I could see how they needed help with women and other areas in life in which they called in for advice for.

Strange dudes man, I get it. I can deal with attitude from a woman easier than from a man, you just wanna fight at a certain point. Same way you can deal with a tantrum from a child vs an adult.

For real. A lot of them were borderline incels so they’re just weird by default.

Post some of the old Tariq stuff

most of what he says boils down to be realistic with yourself if you want a high value man or high quality woman

he don’t really be on no Mack or Pimp type ****

Tariq wasn't doing that right before he made Hidden Colors

He was a relationship expert touring the country giving lecture that was basically

1. Dude get yourself together
2. Women get themselves together
3. Women have realistic expectations
4. Strong accountability steez in regards to women.
5.Mixed in with some problematic takes
6. He focused a lot on conversation

Dude had the Mack branding put he wasn't outchea teaching dudes how to be pimps

The mack and pimp stuff wasn't really at the forefront. He was just a basic relationship and self-help coach. But he was very entertaining

Yeah sure dude, I just don't know, that's it
Was Tariq an image consultant? The **** he’s on now isn’t ALL that he talks about. Like I said, you’re just catching on.

Either way, I wish Tariq would’ve stayed in this lane. It’s hard to listen to him now.

From what I recall, yeah, you could email Tariq and book consulting with him for personal development and relationships. But granted his moneymakers seeded to be merch, books, and touring the country doing lectures talking about self-improvement and relationships. I mean Hidden Colors came out in 2011, and I am talking about over a decade ago.

Seems like you might not know what stuff Tariq was on, so you assume my comparison is coming from a place of ignorance. Or maybe you do and disagree, I dunno.

Not saying they are exact copies, but I can see the similarities in rhetoric.

But tell yourself whatever you need to feel right. It's whatever, I'm just catching on.

***** colonized himself and then made a song bragging about it, rocking a conk in the 21st century  :smh:

I don't hear any mack, pimp or pickup stuff coming from Kevin Samuels at all. Samuel's mission is pretty obvious after a couple of listens.

Money aside, his mission is facilitating marriage for black women, and not even necessarily black marriage.

He's concerned by lower marriage rates for modern black women and it frustrates him that they do it to themselves in his view, because they lack humility and are quick to place themselves above the average man even though they themselves are average.

Man, I like Kevin, but his mission is to get paid lol
He makes that clear from the beginning. He charged a hefty fee for his services. I’d be figuring out all sorts of ways myself to cash out if I had 400k subscribers.

That's why I literally listed money first.

But it's obvious he believes what he's saying which makes sense because from everything I've seen, it's generally the truth imo.
I don't think his mission is to help black women get married though.

I think he is the anti Steve Harvey, in that he tells women what they don't want to hear. He also keeps it real with the guys but he is def pro man (IE woman's fault she isn't married) TBH he can be kind of mean, but that's his brand.

Idk after going through most of his recent videos it's obvious to me that black women and marriage is at the very center of his current platform and content.

If we want to get a little more nuanced, he seems to have a big problem with the mainstream narrative that black women are not marrying because black men are unsuitable or unavailable for marriage. He says something like 50% of black men are single with no children and 65% of black men are in the middle class. But I haven't checked any of his numbers.

I think he's pro man only in the sense that we live in a patriarchy and there are certain realities and truths that can't be separated from that and he understands that and doesn't feel pressured to be quiet about it. He's definitely not red pill or on any of that internet intel nonsense.

I think he is telling women what they need to hear because he thinks it will increase their chances of getting married i.e. help them. Of course it heightens the entertainment value too but both things can be true.
