Not only that, but who cares if KG would get his butt whooped by half the league? It's part of KG's mind games. It's not like wins and losses comes down to fighting ability. It's a ridiculous statement to make in regards to the NBA when fighting has nothing to do with anything.
At the end of the day you want to play for a guy like KG and you probably discount the fact that he wouldn't "step" to other big guys in the league as a factor.

I am a Heat fan living in South Florida, but I must admit that in the last year I have started to enjoy the Celtics more than hating on them. They can all talk because they play basketball how it is supposed to be played. I would be pretty passionate if I played for such a great team. If you let trash talk somehow make you a worse player than you deserve to have him talk junk to you.

No, I think you're missing the point. He's a trash talker, not a fighter. Him being soft or tough in relation to fighting is completely irrelevant when it comes to his place in the NBA. It's a mental and not a physical thing.
