At what price is something no longer "bummy"? 199 is bummy...... But this 200 jacket! Well now....
If I buy the same jacket for cheap is it now bummy?

You can get the same quality jacket minus the brand name at a lower price.

gore-tex jackets aren't cheap, neither are 700 fill.

these are arctic mountain rated jackets that are rated for their performance by ski experts and moutain hiker outdoorsmans..they didn't cost $600+ because

"da hood gon cop yo, oh yeah!"

to this day i've yet to see Marmot even ATTEMPT to gain suitors in da urban, hiphop demographic, their jackets sold strictly out of word of mouth and performance.

so "bummy" is poor choice of words.

They look bummy. Part of their construction may suggest otherwise, but they look horrible.

QFT, havent broke mine out for the winter yet but they are meant for mountain climbing, extra light yet still warm, and cant forget about the stash pockets

NY as a whole stopped setting trends...this place has become a carbon copy of everything seen in videos...glad I grew up and don't really follow many trends anymore...

The Merms went well with the style of clothing in the late 90's early 00's everyone was on their relax, baggy steeZ so they were proportionate...nowadays the youngins wear skin right pants, ridiculous saggin, some huge boots and now these coats....they look so disproportionate is not even funny....back in the day I liked the look of Merms, they went well with the Girbauds/timbs look....chances are you look like an idiot applying these coats to today's "fashion"

but to be fair, alot of da new merms being sold are:

slim to da body which works like a poor man's moncler.

and this one is popular too...
