but to be fair, alot of da new merms being sold are:

slim to da body which works like a poor man's moncler.

and this one is popular too...

but these aren't holding da clout of da goretex merm.

I know bruh....is disgusting....I rather rock a moncler...been wanting one for a while, just never gone through with it...barely wear my Burberry which wasn't cheap and has a similar look...

yeah i couldn't pull da trigger when i tried one on in atrium and it wasn't warm at all..tough sell when you're dropping 1000+ dollars for it.

it's not as warm as a biggie but it gets the job done

naw, moncler jackets aren't warm at all, if i wanted a slim puffy jacket that was actually warm i would get a summit series north face..

im with you b. i hate jcrew, i want almost everything in that store but its my wallet's worst enemy. as soon as i got my first post college job, i walked in there and proceeded to get loose wit da mastercard. only in moderation now.


saw this in my catalog in the mail...

its so but at $400 :x with no lifetime warranty and not waterproof and probably no technical insulation like what you'd find from a NF snorkel for example, seems like a bad deal.

New York gets colder than DC, and New York is more public transportation dependent so warmth takes precedent over appearance.

As someone who lives in the dc area and frequents NYC and Chicago regularly, the same coats I wear at home serve me just as well in the other two cities. Chicago was the most brutal, wind tunnels between buildings will blast you.
