Pretty much.

The merm biggies took over , they hold more popularity than north face uptown and the BX. Every highschool kid wants a biggie.

Yeah u definitely got one of the older joints. I think someone had it on the nt classifieds up for sake a few years back, even bringing up the different styled pockets
goes to show you uptown is usually early on all these coats.

when i first seen marmots, back in 2002-2003 they didn't have a white horse, yukon, etc. none of da shinny bubbles.

it was JUST da almost 700 dollar goretex marmot parka, and back then they looked like da way da white white horse looks like, with da drawstring in da back of da neck

and zipper removable hood, except it was 700 fill and goretex, they didnt even had chest pockets, just da lower pouches.

to this day i regret never jumping on that bright red goretex, because i haven't seen it since 2003.

Lol at people thinking the tri-state area is "cold" ....

im no expert on what's considered fresh on da streets but i would think a cheaper coat > expensive coat with blood and bullet holes

umm it gets brick out here b, NYC gets all 4 seasons.
Don't get me wrong, it gets cold out here, but there's nothing like those Midwest winters. Temperature drops to the negatives on the daily out there.
da ocean keeps da temp somewhat moderate in NYC, however every now and then we'll get a arctic blast from canada and it'll feel like single to

neg digits with da windchill factor, also lake affect snow in upstate NY is no joke.

Ninja you gotta stop thinking the world revolves around NYC and the heights :{...when NYC gets to -30 to -60 deg (windchill included) in the winter then you can tell me that its "brick" outside...and yeah where I'm living we get all 4 seasons too...

Edit- and this is from someone who used to live in NYC

what are you doing up there, digging for tar sand? heard da jobs is crazy up there.

there's no way i can move from NY for a long time, id miss it too much.

Looks like a thick warm coat. Nothing special looking to me but idiots love that fashion statement of the label
da irony of it is from da looks of its design language, they were going for a strict utilitarian look and da main draw of

da jacket is its specs (which sold me cuz its awesomely warm) otherwise it looks like a real plain coat.

Ok I get it for the fact it excels at what it does and it does it well but if people in the Hood buying this up and more then I expect to see a bit of style.

who's arguing about NYC being colder though. Ppl just sayin it gets really cold in NYC, which is true.

Da reds that were released since isnt da original

Goretex i remembered back then, plus i already have

TOO many jackets & coats, once i copped da black

Goretex merm i was straight...i was REAL close to

Coppin da army olive one that dropped da same year

But outta my whole collection of coats i didnt have

A heavy duty black one so that ended up being da

Practical choice.

Feel you, these big jackets take up the space of two in the closet anyways :lol
