Thanks -- now that you mention it, it does seem to be more of just a heavy glue layer. Just seems like a layer of a plastic, like TPU when in hand. Glue makes sense though

Is it just me or does the medial side of the Outsole look like the 6? But I need to see the lateral view, it'll make or break the shoe for me

The upper is definitely mesh. Clear mesh I think it's called. I'm not worried about the looks at all, it will surely grow on us but the performance is what got me worried. I'm not keen on the outsole, looks like it's gonna be stiff. Hope we can feel the zoom and lunar.

I def think they're going to reveal it. The facebook link has an event rsvp for the live stream of it. The event is titled "A Look Into the Future." Maybe they'll be introducing some crazy new tech.

Wish I could put both pics side by side to show you but....guyz if ya remember last year we got an "early" 1st pic of the KOBE 9 EM Low "Bruce Lees" sitting on sumones desk, and this year yet again that same desk that those "Bruce Lees" were sitting on we have an "early" 1st pic of the KOBE X on what looks like to be sitting on the same desk??? am I making sense?..LOL if sumone knows how to put up both of those"early" pics that im talking about, that sure would help me out? you can totally tell from the wall/background etc...reason im bringin this up is cause maybe those Kobe Xs are infact the real Kobe Xs that were gettin? cause that pic from last year was indeed the shoes we got. ...food4thought.

There's a cover pic with "A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE" and a description which says: "Join Nike Basketball for an exclusive glimpse into a groundbreaking moment in our team’s history. Now if you go to Nike.com and type in "Kyrie" in the search bar it directs you to this http://www.nike.com/us/en_us/c/basketball/kyrie-irving which shows Kyrie's new logo with 12.3.14 on the bottom which is the same date of the event.
This event could be the unveiling of a couple of Signature lines, I'm even hoping to hear something about the rumored James Harden sig. But hey I could be wrong.
