OP, you really gotta explain this one to me tho
WHAT R THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSEEEE ????!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you laugh?
HAHA! I did laugh!

They are actually Asics Gel Nimbus. They are comfy! lol

Funny story...

Even though I have been an NT member for over 12 years, I don't wear Nike anymore. I had a pair of the Nike Hyperrev's that ripped after my first day of playing in them, and called Nike customer service to send them back. I took pictures like 3 different times, sent them back, and jumped through all of these hoops to try and get another pair of shoes. it wasn't about the money, but the principle. They would not replace my shoes. Anyway to make a long story short a Nike manager eventually got on the phone with me one day and said... " I don't know if you are in high school or what kid... but we are not going to replace your shoes no matter what." Ever since that day and that comment I totally disassociated myself with Nike. I sold and gave away every single Nike shoe and product I owned (Which was a LOT of stuff). Now I just wear "Other Brands," hence the Asics lol

.  Unless the shoes came with something that said you can't return them if they rip then it's in their policy to accept returns within 30-days not to mention a shoe ripping after 1 day sounds like a manufacturer defect.  If you paid by CC, you could've filed a chargeback within 120 days.  I would've went that route and let them handle it since Nike's CS didn't seem to want to help you out anyway.

After making my news public and starting a gofundme account, I received over 5k of donations in two days.

I was a pretty good athlete growing up and a local news writer who used to cover contacted me and is putting a story together for me.

This whole process has been crazy, yet extremely humbling.

I HAVE to beat this cancer. HAVE TO. And I am going to.

Thanks again for all of your support NT. My little family since 2003

just dropping by to say that i keepwishing you the best of luck. keep up the fight, might be a long road but you got this.

Sending positive energy and love your way OP. **** cancer. I keep my faith that you will be blessed and in time this will just be a thing of the past for you.

14 radiation treatments down. 21 more left

Chemo on Tuesday.

Three of 7 total weeks of treatment completed.

It only gets harder from here, but I am ready!

Op, how is your experience in the infusion bays when you get chemo? I've designed a few so far and I try my best to make sure that the patients are comfortable. I know some treatments last up to 4 hours +. Anything you would recommend so that others can have a more desireable/ tolerable time for their treatment?

Stay strong you're in my prayers!

My chemo actually takes a total of 7 hours.

I do Cisplatin.

I seriously almost died after my first chemo. I was dehydrated and had to go back to the hospital twice. I was out of it for 5 days. I got better and know what to expect now.

The process itself wasn't horrible other than it taking so long. it is just the after effect that is just... the worst. I just watch ed TV in my bay the whole time.

I have a blog too if you or anyone else wants to check out. I explain the effects of my chemo there. www.kylekostic.blogspot.com

I renovated an existing medical office building and the infusion bays looked out to a parking lot! Who wants to sit there and look at a license plate for that long. So we redid it with a healing garden. Planted some really nice trees. It's the little things that might help people go through the process.

Yes the after effects from what I hear form patients and nurses is the worst part. I hope you Have a speedy and healthy recovery. Stay strong man, I wish you the best.

Good to hear you're in good spirit.

I posted about, "Perception and environment can be the same but if your perception diffPerception and environment can be the same but if your perception differ from your environment it can have positive or negative effect.

Perception controls behavior, genes, and rewrites genes. Perception controls biology/life.er from your environment it can have positive or negative effect.

Perception controls behavior, genes, and rewrites genes. Perception controls biology/life.

Your perception of your environment controls your health. Scientist did a study where they took cells out of a person with unhealthy cells and put them into a different place (out of his body) and the cells grew healthy. The environment are still the same but the perception of the individual changed his biological well being. Another example are the placebo effect you all heard off. It's the perception/believe people have that made them better or unhealthy. Your cells are perfect from the start, but from your perception of the environment being conditioned from your everyday life it changes your well being into negative path," from my last visit here.

I was reading today and came across some interesting stuff that relates to our perception in health. I took a couple of pictures of the pages I read and I thought I should share it you and the fellas here.

You're perception can help you heal your body. You can start by changing the tittle of this thread from "I have cancer" into something like "I'm on my way to beat cancer."

I never go into general, so I just saw this. I'm sure you have a bunch of people in your corner, but if you want an extra ear, holla at me. I have gotten cancer twice. Hodgkin's lymphoma. So, I can empathize. DM me whenever.
