The neck beards at ESPN were extremely quick to write off the Stephenson and McGee signings because they're used to criticizing every move magic makes and they're used to mocking him and making him the butt of their jokes.
This time the joke is on the media who questioned these moves. The rondo signing was a chess move. It's a win win.

I like that Magic and Pelinka have talked about Rondo and Lance being "tough" defenders, haven't necessarily said "good" or "great defenders, because they aren't good by almost any defensive metric.
