**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

yeah zo still hurt.. BI has been playing his same game throughout all the madness.. he prob used to it since they were dangling BI since he was drafted :lol

not sure how much Kuz injury is bugging him though but i think the entire team just had like 0 energy.

i think the drama is affecting the team but i dont think the young kids are throwing a coup d'etat

Interesting

some dudes hosting ESPN national radio right now are saying that loss last night was the Lakers young players pushing back on Lebron and how he controls the franchise. They aren't playing hard and gave him his biggest loss of his career more or less intentionally.

Two more seasons after this one right? That's only if he doesn't exercise his player option for that 4th year?

i always thought it was going to be a 3 team trade
depends on how much phx is willing to give up for Zo tho

would def help

during the stretch of games bron missed the young guys did not look that good either though. might be another reason why magc is so willing to fire the clip lol

They looked fine when healthy, just inconsistent like any young team. Highs against OKC and Houston before Zo went down and lows against the Knicks and the Cavs.

Zo really the x-factor

they def play better with him :lol

people def gonna use the 6-12 without Bron against them though even tho Zo AND Kuz missed games during that stretch

It doesn’t matter man. It’s an organizational failure.

Magic was brought in to get Leonard, PG, Unibrow types. If he can’t get one of those, what is his purpose? He has no basketball front office experience so that’s not why he was hired.

Bruh you sound like it's easy to get Kawhi, PG and AD. The Spurs wasn't gonna trade Kawhi here. The Pacers was asking for too much. And we see how tough it is getting AD and he's doing everything possible to come here. Didn't we learn from the CP3 trade how the rest of the NBA fights against the Lakers getting big names? Comparing where were to now Magic and Rob have done a good to great job however you cut it.

I just don't get it. It's really a spoiled mentality that this fan base has like everything is supposed go perfect.

majority of laker nation: if everything doesn't go exactly to a perfect crisp = overreact, dramatic, turn on x, give up on y, trade z :lol fire abcdef haha

But then dudes would still be crying about not having a superstar. This fan base don't know what they want.

We just wait til the results happen then flip flop and "See, I knew it!!!".
This.

And it doesn’t help that there’s a divide within the fan base wether to keep the young guys, or flip them for a superstar. If Maginka sits back and dont work the phone, people are gunning for their heads. When they shop players to trade for a superstar, people are still gunning for their heads. There isn’t really a middle ground where people will be satisfied, we just have to live with it.

this is facts. yesterday morning my boy (die hard fan) was ready to ship all the kids out for AD and was hype and talking about damn maybe we can get another star omg ready for chips

then last night "Man **** lebron ship his *** out for kyrie he ruined the chemistry"

epitome of the fandom for theshow hahaha but i still faux with yalls

Svi actually played last night and got traded after the game
My bad basically stopped watching during the 3rd.

My only real issue is that we're looking super thirsty right now. Trading some of the young guys for AD is pretty much a no brainer, but putting ALL of them AND picks in public trade talks and still not getting him is making us look like some ****.
