**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Bean had one of the meanest offensive packages lol
you might be able to put KD as close to that.. prob not as skilled but he has that size so that makes it hard

Kobe’s offensive arsenal was ridiculous. So much in his toolbox

Yup, offensive toolbox made him extremely hard to guard. What made it even more lethal was his intelligence. He knew what type of tool to utilize each time down the floor because he knew how to read the defense and was always 2 steps ahead.

wade is pretty skilled too but never had the jumper that Bean had

Love DWade, the Drexler to Kobe's Jordan. Similar skills to Kobe, but slower motion lol.

You mentioned KD too, who has tremendous guard skills for someone of his height/size. As unstoppable as he is right now, his offensive "toolbox" is not as complete as Kobe's or Jordan's imho. I still think the 6'9" Larry Bird could do more offensively and was more unpredictable because he had the supreme intelligence (like the Kobes of the world) to read/react and be 2 steps ahead and make more plays not just for himself but for his teammates since he had crazy court vision as part of his offensive skill set.

Bird was also the master of the pump fake. Man, that entire Celtic frontcourt were masters of the pump fake. I couldn't stand it, but the Celtics couldn't beat us 'cause Magic made **** disappear and no matter how many pump fakes Bird, McHale, and Parish did they had no answer for the Sky Hook.
