Calderon for Noel, straight up, both expiring contracts. Philly may be willing to simply dump Noel because of their logjam at center and to free up future cap space. Who knows, anything can happen.

Lakers can then offer Lou, Deng, and a future pick to ATL for Millsap and Hardaway Jr.

The Korver deal makes your scenario even more ridiculous.

They gave up a 1st rounder for a 35 yr old spot up shooter. 

It's gonna take a lot more than that to get a 22yr old defensive anchor.

Saw some quotes saying players would just sign with their incumbent teams and force a trade after the fact...I read the exact same thing last time they restructured the CBA. Off the top of my head I can't think of any player who actually did that. Melo, deron Williams and Dwight are the last guys I can even think of to force a trade and that was like two cbas ago

Cleveland's first rounder will be a #30 pick. You act like they're giving up a valuable pick 

When teams are title contenders, they have no problems giving up late first rounders in order to acquire a valuable role player that can be an integral piece.

Stop it now my dude. A first round pick for a bottom-feeder team such as LAL, PHO, PHI is MUCH different than a first rounder for an elite team therefore trade value is going to mean a lot different for those picks in the context of a trade.

Dude tore his ACL in college and has missed a ton of games the last two years due to injury after injury. Might as well say Noel's body is just about as durable as a 35-year old 

 

Think about it. Why is it that it's Noel NOT Okafor who's on the trading chop block in Philly?
