If we had AD last night, Sabonis doesnt go off and put up damn near 30 and 13 since he'd be completely nullified had he been guarding AD all game. I think that was a bigger factor than Lebrick having a mediocre outing by Lebron standards. 20-9-9 would be considered a "great" performance for most players.
Dont get me wrong tho, Sabonis is super solid and is emerging into an All-Star caliber player like his Pops. But no way he's putting up those same numbers against the 2020 DPOY. No way.

Man, tough team, on the road, no AD/Kuz, and we're up 100-95. I would have bet everything we'd close that out.
Bottom line, can't shoot below 50% from the free throw line. Flat out can't have that. Hit a couple of those, and you don't have to heave 30-40 footers to "catch up" or win the game. Straight drives to the rim could have got the job done.
That said, would have LOVED to have gotten the win while also resting AD a couple days, but it happens. We've stolen a few games we should have lost already, so it evens out. Key now is, we need to get 2 out of the next 3 vs Bucks, Nuggets, Clippers. If we do that, I'll feel great. We go 1-2 or somethin like that, and that lead we built up is already in danger before New Years, then I'll be a little concerned.

Why would the Knicks want 2 years 30 million of Danny Green?
if green really is not good for us and other teams may want him we can probably get a 1st for him (from a semi-contender) and package that’s first and 2nd rounder with Kuz to get another “star” player. Maybe Jrue?

Not sure how salaries are but a straight up trade wouldn’t be bad, but we lose a wing defender. I would say it would be ideal if we somehow land Iggy.

Because the guy we want to trade has not contributed a single thing So we can only get better. Sometimes a record can be deceiving too, we also wanna make a trade to make it easier on our two superstars so they can rest
