**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Man I’ve been supporting Kuz since he got here but damn wtf is up with the guy. Not attaching THT with Kuz for anyone.
It’s a lot man
Trade rumors
AD in the paint and taking 20 shots
He used to thrive as a cutter but now has to be spot up
Shot incosistent
Then the trainer **** and now he’s prob super over thinking jt to not get traded

Bron's "boneheadedness" is definitely a concern. Which is why the more critical it is to surround Bron with high IQ players like Caruso, AD, for example.

The other issue you pointed out is something that worries me because old Bron will get worn down if he feels he has to carry the load all the time. Someone has to come in and earn his trust.

Another thing is opponents gonna throw multiple lengthy bodies on him just like the Bulls threw Pip, MJ, Levingston, and I think even Scott Williams on '91 version Magic, which in turn threw the entire Laker team off their rhythm in the Finals.

This after Jerome Kersey, Clyde Drexler, Cliff Robinson, and Ainge all harrassed Magic in the West Finals.

Magic was worn down and the same can happen to Lebron deep in the playoffs.

Im confident Pelinka knows what to do.
Yeah I been watching Bron for a long time and he has def done things on court to try to shake up rosters
He been super boneheaded and buns lately and I’m not sure ifnits because he doesn’t trust anyone else or what lmao

but yeah I’m concerned about Him getting worn down too. Need a consistent reliable third scorer imo. That can keep the defense honest. RN they just kinda packing the paint and zoning up and Bron can’t drive and ad gets doubled or tripledon the block lol

Lebron had 30. What exactly is there to worry about?
Him getting gassed/hurt from overload
But also he’s had some really bad IQ plays lol
Like where you say wtf? Even from me and I’m a big Bron fan lol hes weird bruh cuz you dunno if you’re gonna get scorer Bron, Magic Johnson pass Bron, steph curry range Bron, old boy lateral movement Bron, or just plain bad Going thur the notions wtf you doing Bron :lol

I guess. Come playoff time, Bron is the least of my concerns come playoff time. I’m more worried about the role players

Man it's about to be rough around here...

just like last year, 2nd half of the season is brutal

Never wanna hear y’all say Big Clarkson again
That’s a compliment to this bum *** Puzma. He been playing garbage for a while now

3-3 last 6 games, need some home cookin

Only worried about how we do against Milwaukee. We can beat everybody else tbh

“can beat” only means something when you play correctly and cleanly and like the team has played in the past. Like during the 10 game winning streak. Playing smart and making correct plays. Based on this game and recent games it could get ugly.

Kuzma playing like somebody who bout to get traded. I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt until the deadline. If he still here and continues this after , then he need to figure something out because he was useless tonight

It’s time to move on from Kuzma and I’m not a big advocate of making changes mid season but the Lakers have serious flaws.

Athletic wings have been feasting on the Lakers all season long (Siakam, Kawhi, Tatum, Simmons, Tobias, Jaylen Brown etc) and this trend will continue in the playoffs. Green is past his prime. AB and KCP are undersized and we obviously cant expect Lebron to lock anybody down.

NM the Bucks but I don’t even like our chances against the Clippers. I’d love to have an athletic, long defensive wing. Robert Covington is 6’9 and he can seamlessly fit with the Lakers.

I remember when the Lakers traded for Ariza in 2007. He was relatively unknown but he helped changed the dynamics of that team and I see parallels in terms of fit and needs.

Schedule is pretty easy in feb. we will lose to clippers Tuesday and then to nuggets. Between these two games we will win 6 straight. Then we will win 5 of next 6. That’s 3 more losses only til March 3rd. That’s projected 48-13 til we get to that brutal start in March where we have 6 of 8 games vs top teams. If we win 4 of those 8 that’s 52-17 through 69 games. Pretty good. Problem is we will be wayyy under 500 vs elite teams

**** is Bron doing out there? He's playing one of those head *** indecisive games.

These are the games i've been talking about his whole career, where he's just out there on cruise control during important stretches of the game. & every big loss he has played the same in.

Caruso & KCP got us back in the game defensively, but i'm really getting tired of seeing our guys who can shoot turning down open shots.
