**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Mans not even trolling. This a lakers thread and dude posted about the lakers. I don’t think we should use ad hominem arguments against dude. Flamboyant_Luv23 Flamboyant_Luv23

Honestly think if we embrace outside posters it leads to thoughtful, engaging debate. We don’t need a homogenous environment all the time. Obviously as long as outside posters keep it lakers centric and aint trolling I don’t see the problem with anyone posting in here. (I even welcome trolling but that’s besides the point). Basically wanna see this thread as active as possible

Main reason dude posts here is because the clippers thread is dead. (Does one even exist? I fr don’t even know). It ain’t fun posting in a thread with like 2 people in it lmao.

I may be wrong too based on the consensus of the thread or with the vision of NT. Idk

Were you here for Zo?

Trust me that's not what you want here.

And there is a Clippers thread. If it isn't active maybe he should post more in there to get it active.

We good here.

*edit*

fayetnam fayetnam

So I just took a look at the Clippers thread to see if maybe I'm off base...

Flamboyant_Luv23 Flamboyant_Luv23 has made more post in the Lakers thread then the Clippers thread over the past month. 1 post in the Clippers thread compared to the Lakers...

Clippers thread has activity so put your energy there. We good over here....

Hoping he can hit the ground running next season. Looking forward to seeing how he fits in with the varsity squad. Replace rondo and Daniels with THT and collison(?), bring back chief keef, possible Danny green trade, healthyish DeMarcus. I'm ready for next season already

To quote (paraphrase) my idol Kobe, you gotta enjoy the long grueling process of the season and learn from these games/situations. I think we will win both these games bc this team has been tested many times this season...but if we don’t win, so long as they learn a little more from it and they come out better when it actually counts in the playoffs. At the end of the day it’s still 1 of 82 games.

with that said. Bucks by 47. Clippers by 11

Sign that he stays with the Lakers?
Those don't exist.

"What?"

Signs.

People always tried to think that this definitely means that.

'Oh, his wife is from here.'
'He enrolled his kids in this area.'
'His agent is from this area so that means he's signing with this team.'
'He was just seen buying coffee at the local shop of this team so that means...'

... none of it means anything. Players change their mind all the time. I guarantee you there is footage of AD saying he wants to play in New Orleans a long time and he loves being there and the city has embraced him and blah, blag, blah, yet here we are.

I can't believe that people still don't understand that things change all the time.

0% chance he leaves this Summer.

Interested to see who else we pickup next season. If we end up winning a chip there's gonna be a few vets willing to sign for the minimum.

Championship or Bust this season. Pelinka is still sticking to the summer 2021 plan to try and go after Giannis.

I'd like to see a trade like this happen:

Honestly I think the Kieff and now the Waiters signings were Pelinka, Jeanie, and "shadow owners" (Kurt & Linda Rambis) addressing the label of the Lakers being "soft" come playoff time.

So they went out and got some tough guy enforcers who can provide some toughness and knock down some 3's in limited minutes off the bench.

Y'all are fools if you think both guys are difference makers and will have a big impact the rest of the regular season and during the playoffs.

thank you for your continued optimism :lol

Don't watch too many Clippers games but wanted to see what they would do with the small ball thing the Rockets got going...

And they are SMASHING them...

Yikes.
