**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Another loss, another delusional quote from a coach and or player

Vogel: when we are whole again, if Davis plays like this we can win a title.

Lol how about you make the playoffs first big boy. ******* team is talking titles with 18 players 6’3 and shorter. We are starting a player out of the league if it wasn’t for Covid, a player cut by another team day before the season and a 36 year old 44 mill dollar player that is unplayable. And we sitting here using the word “championship” or “title”

******* idiots

They really trying to blame the loss on a rookie smh. We had a veteran PG superstar that should know what to do in that situation. He was barely touched on the screen and then made a horrible decision to swipe at the ball instead of just staying in front of Reggie and double hard.

Reaves did what he was supposed to do - not give up baseline. Obviously he’s a rookie and needs to get stronger, but where was our savvy veteran experienced point guard leader in that play? Where was our veteran elite defender on that Morris pump fake?

The team is to blame. Monk with the stupid tech. The team missing 8 free throws. Russ missing a dunk early in the game. Simple things that could amount to wins.

Vogel sitting AB, and giving Reaves more minutes, not having Russ & THT in at the same time, and adjusting as needed are simple things that can be done.

Think he's back by Next Saturday at the latest. Nunn said he's feeling good so I think we see him relatively soon as well.

Who's blaming Reaves?

I will say this...we loved Caruso because he made some highlight dunk plays, was good on defense and was a likeable guy...

This is a business and as much as we wanted him to stay, let's see if he actually plays like a player that deserves the full MLE...

“All you people calling us old, please keep that same energy during the season”
“0-0 in the playoffs”
“I can’t get 25/15/15 every night”
“We need Ariza back”

The quotes this year have been too funny:lol:
“When whole. If AD plays like this, we can win a championship”
