**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Funniest thing about Lwbrons media croanies are that they forget Lebron is 37. This ain’t similar to past years when he had full control over teams in his 20s. They expect Jeanie to bend over for a 39 year old lebron lol.

Let’s face it. Lebron is awesome but some of his stats are kind of empty unless the roster is built perfectly to complement his low defensive effort habits. Not to mention now he’s had big injuries 3 of the last 4 seasons

Exactly. Teams would tolerate all that Lebron playing GM stuff for 27 and even early 30’s Lebron.

But they’re not going to and shouldn’t mortgage their future to appease a soon to be 38 year old Lebron knowing Lebron will be long gone and doesn’t give a damb about whatever struggles they’ll have on the back end of those trades. If there’s moves to be made to get back to having a legitimate chance at winning a title next season without screwing themselves, by all means they should make them.

But they absolutely shouldn’t be strong armed into making moves which will screw the team when Lebron is long gone. If Lebron and his team want to do all that little passive aggressive stuff and send smoke signals through the media etc, play hardball right back at him this summer. This isn’t Cleveland, where the organization is going to beg him to stay. Especially a soon to be 38 year old version of him.

Sorry guys I’m no fun I know lol…

It’s all funny to me, the man will do what’s best for him and the Lakers will do what’s best for the squad. At the end of the day I doubt he’s even made up his mind yet…but you gotta find humor in the (over)reactions though

Why do they say foot not ankle? We all saw his ankle roll. Foot sounds like there are other issue in other parts of the foot

For a quick summation — based on this diagnosis, Davis’ injury involves damage to a ligament or ligaments in the midfoot (which sits between the rear and forefoot). It may or may not also involve damage to the lateral (outer) ankle ligaments. In short, while we don’t know the exact severity, this could be worse than the ankle injury that was previously feared, and appears certain to cost Davis some real time.

Aka much worse then a typical ankle sprain
