**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Does any have Westbricks stats last 10 games? It really seems like starting with the Toronto road game he turned the corner
they had the graphic up last night but he was averaging 21ppg on 50% and 40% from three.

Is he this guy??

looks like these last two seasons have been rough on dude :emoji_grimacing:

710 did the blame pie segment and I figured I bring it Here. What is your percentage of blame for this year's season:

40% Jeanie buss for being cheap and having entirely too many hands in the pot. When you hear the Rambis family is important in making decisions, Rob, Magic etc....it's too many folks. Then cheaping out on AC. AC wanted to be here but wanted to be paid fairly. Sounds like he wasn't asking for too too much.

30% Klutch. Too much power within the organization. THT got paid because he is Klutch. That was such a horrible deal. Klutch also believed the deal for Russ was better than buddy or Demar.

10% Rob. Retooled this roster too much after the Chip. Letting Dennis go for nothing was stupid. Trez never fit with the roster last year IMO.

10% AD. Street Clothes. Bro gotta play.

5% Russ. Small percentage because they brought him here knowing it wasn't a good fit. He put up his typical numbers...I just hated his attitude throughout the year.

3% Adam Sliver for letting us trade for Russ....🤣

2% Vogel. Bro got handed a trash roster. A roster that doesn't fit what he does. He did mange to misplay the trash hand from time to time. He is unfairly gonna be fired.

Winning Time is pretty good.

I wonder how long they will focus on the Showtime Lakers and how they will portray the 90s?

I think Showtime Era is probably worth three to four seasons. I want to say leading up to the premiere, they discussed wanting to get to the Shaq-Kobe Era.

I just know they can't wait to get to the Shaq-Kobe era.

I would like to see the 90s tackled though. Not just the Kobe-Shaq parts. Wanna see at least a little bit of the bad times.

I hope giving away the opening scene isn't too much of a spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it, but considering that the very opening scene is Magic Johnson in a hospital, I would think that they plan on highlighting all through the 80s and then ending with the 2nd saddest day of my life as a sports fan.

Definitely.

I just don't want to see a time jump from that moment though and then go straight to the Kobe-Shaq era.

Ya this show is based on a book about the 80s lakers

There isn’t a show about the 90s or Kobe/Shaq era.

They did write a book about the Kobe/Shaq era so that will have to first be adapted into a screenplay.

Not sure I wanna watch a movie about Kobe though.
