**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Detroit saves 5 mil with the trade alone and saves even more with Pat Bev's buyout. They can resign Nunn and maybe Lonnie for cheap next year with their space and have younger bodies to run with Cade when he comes back.

At the deadline:

Big Reset for them. I'd consider throwing in Christie in the CLT deal if they fuss but I'd drop a pick. They want to attach Gordo to Rozier so no unprotected 1st, but Mitch loves 2nds anyway.

Rozier/Burks/Bojan/Bron/AD
Schroder/Reaves/Hayward/TB7 or JTA/Bryant

Lead guard, shooting, wings, bench scoring, 9-10 man playoff rotation. (Bankroll) Its all there. (Bankroll)

Or if IND can't get a deal done with Myles, reroute the second deal to IND with the 2029 pick and another swap for Buddy/Myles.

Can't say I be thrilled with a Kuzma reunion, but he's probably the best all around fit taking into consideration his game, familiarity and contract status. Don't think the Wizards would really love what the Lakers have to offer though.

Lakers aren't taking any long term salary back unless its like a Kyrie type player.

Wouldn’t be sad at all of Reeves goes elsewhere this summer.

Not like he’s the difference between not winning it all and winning it all.

Amirite?

There's 4 players traded, all of which have been linked to the Lakers, 3 of which are immediate starters, plug all the holes in the roster and yall worried about Gordon Hayward, who's coming off the bench.

I don't know why any of us bother, they ain't making a move anyway. First it was Dec 15th. Then it was Jan 15th. Latest articles talking about the trade deadline. This is a shell game people. Jeanie in the back counting the door and the bar.

If the Lakers can make a couple of solid trades they can potentially get to the top 4 in the West

I understand that you might be kidding.

HOWEVA...

In the event that you're not: It's not that these scrappy players are THE difference between winning it all or not. It's that they are A difference, just like I talk about coaching and role players and rim presence. When people say something like 'Wait so you think we NEED a Thomas Bryant to win a championship?', it's frustrating, because it's not that Thomas Bryant is Shaq, obviously. But Brook Lopez is a champion, and contributed. Like it's not that a good coach is THE difference, nor is it that these scrappy players are THE difference, nor is it that backup rim presence is THE difference. It's that all these things together ALONG with star power make a helluva problem for opponents.

Or you might have just been joking. 😂😬
