**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

If we’re offseason for the sake of conversation…

I have all of the acquired guys being brought back…D Lo, Rui, Vando, etc.

Most of the vet min guys have outplayed their contracts…Lonnie, Troy, Dennis. So I want to say since the Lakers will have some form of a mid level exception available they can use that to bring back Troy if they don’t feel like Max is ready OR Dennis if he is.

So you want them to run it back? (plus a Top 12ish pick, either ours or the Pels.)

Vando still under contract next year for 4.6mil.

I’d pay AR that 4yr/50mil. He’s shown that he has elite skill at drawing fouls (85%+FT), sharing the ball, efficient (51%+ FG), can create for others/get his own shot. He’s 24 and NBA players generally entering their prime around ~27. Cap/inflation going up. Sign him

Reaves is 24 (25 in May). I think it would be fair to give him that four years-$50M immediately so another team doesn't throw a big offer that bites them in the backend. If you have to give him a player option after year three, then so be it.

I still don't get the trade AD stuff..

We're literally just gonna trade all those picks/young players for the next superstar that wants out

Just posted that clip for the Lebron returning angle. As far as AD, I think that’s an issue to consider before he enters free agency, so next season…
