I'm at the point where I'm starting to kind of feel bad for Anthony Davis. The Lakers record while LeBron was out was 11-6 (their best stretch of the season), AD averages 27 and 10 yet we still here "Anthony Davis is inconsistent and doesn't do enough"

Basically. Score 30/15 on 30% usage, while being DPOY and playing 35 minutes a game.
Even Giannis workload doesn’t compare lol. Giannis plays 30 minutes a game with a DPOY rim protecter candidate and a DPOY wing defender candidate.

AD drops 37 and 15 In a critical game against OKC on Friday and everyone is silent but he has a subpar game against the Bulls and all the sudden he's back to being inconsistent. Show me the player who has played 15 consecutive incredible games both offensively and defensively. This is basically what we're expecting Anthony Davis to do every night.I totally understand why he's basically not on social media anymore. The expectations people have for the guy are unbelievable. Teammates and HAM at fault too, but AD gotta demand that ball and dominate. Lakers playing great initiating offense inside-out (If AD gets doubled, he's a willing passer to open man). Just be more aggressive

There are games where he doesn't even show up to play. The on court criticism is fair. The injury stuff is not.

For more context, the previous game he played against OKC he put up 13 and 8, in a loss.
Tonight will be his 50th game. He should finish around 55 or so. Does that not count in being consistent as well?

Arguably top 3 in skill. At his size what he can do is amazing

Heavy is the head who wears the crown… some of it is just what comes with the territory when it comes to playing for the Lakers.
Lots of talk about AD’s lack of shot attempts but since his jumper is basically broken at this point most of his offense is going to come in a few ways… post ups, pick and rolls, putbacks and in transition. All things I think that other teams can scheme to take away to a certain extent.
But I don’t think there’s any excuse for his 5 rebounds games, or not getting back on defense, stuff like that
