**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Stupid decision but something tells me Brooks being out there was the reasoning.

Ham still should have pulled him.

At this point, I think it's clear we aren't a real contender.

I'm always gonna support the gang but this team isn't it.

This is basically how I feel. There isn't a deal the Lakers can make that will turn this team from The mediocre team it's been all season into a title contender so there is no point in trading draft picks far into the future to make this roster marginally better.

Even getting rid of Ham won't be a panacea. At the end of the day we have a lot of guards who can't defend and no coach in the league can fix that. Even the best coach in the league is worth 3-4 wins per season.

Which is why you move AR, but save the picks.

I mean maybe if you could swing something like AR/Rui for Wiggins (potential 3&D wing) and get a healthy Gabe back…
Been a tad better lately, but he's been arguably the worse high minutes player in the league this season.

Yep 😂 that’s why I think he would be available…

Take a gamble that maybe during a playoff run he’d return to form but who knows

If you'd move AR/Rui for Wiggins, you'd be making GSW better and get back the worst player in the deal. Nah.

If CLT doesn't find a taker, word is Lowry and Hayward will get bought out. Probably the same for CP3. And they can't sign with the Celtics, Bucks, Nuggets, Warriors, Clippers, Heat or the Suns.

Wiggins been broken since he came back from his hiatus. Under contract until 2027 for nearly max $.

One of the worst defensive back courts in the NBA. We about to let up 150 with no AD, book it

The Wiggins thing was a suggestion based on the current trade market… 3&D wings don’t exactly grow on trees, so who are the other wings being thrown out there in rumors? DFS … Might as well take a flier on AW if that’s the case.

This is good.

In fact, I want AD and Bron to sit out 90% of the games til the trade deadline.

Why?

Because AD and Bron been saving this team from utter embarrassment all season long. The entire planet earth needs to really see how bad of a coach Darvin Ham is and the way for humankind to see Ham's "coaching" effect is to see how the Lakers play without their stars.

This is the only way Jeanie and Rob will realize they have a scrub for a head coach.

Ham might not make it back to LA
I'm not falling for the "Ham has upper mgmt's support" bs.

I said it in November and I'll say it again...i doubt he survives the season.

Lakers bettnot hire Adrian Griffin after Ham gets fired either. No more Bucks leftovers. No more leftover broken down Miami Heat guards too!

Del Harris, Darvin Ham, any coach with the initials "DH" ....need to stay away from MY Lakers.

There is no middle tier trade that will save the Lakers as long Ham is the coach

Heck, even if we added Kyrie, I bet Ham wouldn't know what to do with it.

lebron a wild boy to be playing 39 minutes yesterday and playing today

both games might be blowouts

well atleast vando is rested 🤣
