You just watched your guy get traded to the Lakers for role guys and it slam shut a title window. Luckily for the Lakers a DLo trade at least has given them a puncher’s chance.

And the idea is to then do it again?.

The problem will be that any machination of a third star is for AR, Vando, Rui and three firsts.

If you can do a 1 to 1 third star trade. Absolutely do it.

But when you’re roster will then be Trae/Bron/AD with Gabe Vincent and Max Christie and then need to get the rest of the lineup in order, it’s basically the same roster as is now. With many more land mines to navigate.

There's no puncher's chance with this roster. That's pure delusion.
