**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

D'Lo and Prince were teammates of Dinwiddie's in Brooklyn. I forgot Wood was his teammate in Dallas last season before the Kyrie trade.

Rankings of 3rd Scorers in the West

1. McCollum 19.1 PPG on 14.8 FGA
2. Beal 18.7 PPG on 14.8 FGA
3. THJr 17.7 PPG on 14.4 FGA
4. DLo 17.5 PPG on 13.8 FGA
5. Harden 17.3 PPG on 11.4 FGA
6. Clarkson 17.3 PPG on 14.9 FGA
7. Holgrom 16.8 PPG on 11.9 FGA
8. Van Vleet 16.5 PPG on 13.5 FGA
9. Keldon 16.4 PPG on 13.2 FGA
10. MPJ 16.0 PPG on 13.0 FGA
11. Sharpe 15.9 PPG on 13.6 FGA
12. Kuminga 15.6 PPG on 11.1 FGA
13. Murray 15.2 PPG on 12.4 FGA
14. Smart 14.5 PPG on 11.9 FGA (Ja being out has made JJJ the 2nd option)
15. Gobert 13.7 PPG on 7.9 FGA

Bron and AD are 17th and 18th in scoring in the league. AD is the 3rd highest 2nd scorer in the West (Booker and Kyrie ahead of him). LeBron is 8th as the 1st scorer in the West

Mainly illustrating that whether it be DLo as the third option. Or Trae or Donovan. Somebody would make a sacrifice, or if Bron / AD and third guy are all good with 20 even scoring.

Playing a 3 guard lineup "at times" is fine depending on the opponent.

Like if Phx is going to play Booker, Beal and Grayson Allen - go right ahead.

Just don't roll that lineup out against teams like the Nuggets lol

Some lineup data from 3 guard lineups in last year’s regular season and playoffs

Just depends on when it’s deployed… speed the game up, add multiple ball handlers/playmakers around Bron and AD.

Realistically, Spencer can swap for DLo or Austin if they're ******* up. He can slide to the 3 too and at the very least you have to defend him (unlike Cam/Vando). Has size and shooting Schroder didn't so another added plus.

It's really a win/win. I'd let him run the bench unit to start and let AR come off the ball. Probably helps his shooting numbers and gives him some rest.

He was on a plane first thing, signed, got through the physical and already has practiced. He ain't ducking no smoke. I can appreciate a dude ready to get some work fresh off a trade/getting waived. Son is a hooper.
