As impressive the win over BOS was, the fact the Lakers can’t seem to ever go on an extended winning streak of like 7 or more games let you know this team is still 1-2 pieces away.

What’s so unusual about all these takes? That:
- this team has MANY holes
- unserious team
- only been winning lately when AD dominates (32+)
- the other team suck more
- yes they’re #5 but only 4 games away from 11.
- bron is old (ie lazy, and reckless w the ball) and cant contribute without taking away from the rest of the team

Somewhere sometime ago I talked about Bron needing to be less of a half court facilitator where he’s setting up the offense.
Or at least a different format.
He needs to be a catch the ball and make a decision with it.
Outside of defensive effort and lack of damn given for getting back on defense. His security of the ball is his biggest age related regression.

I know old habits are hard to break but Bron needs to be cognizant that he cant do the same **** he been doing the past years. Damn near holding the ball for 20+ seconds and either throw an errant pass or chuck a 3

Whether it was AR/DLo, AR/Dennis or whatever PGs they had.
That should have been the facilitators. Bron almost always being secondary.
Probably would have led to a better record come New Years.
Could have potentially used someone else for DFS. Then still had DLo and/or Rui’s deals to make a move over the last few weeks before the deadline.
But now it looks like they need both a Center and PG off the bench to be truly legit.

I mean if Pelinka would make a deal, losing AD wouldn't be as much of a problem to beat a down trodden 76ers team.

Beggars can't be choosers, but Capela's fit with AD is clunky at best. But the expiring deal is enticing. Likely can resign him for less in the offseason.
