**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

AD is a center. AD is a PF. Bron isn't a true PF. That's why Vando is so important because he does all the dirty work to support AD

AD isn't a center because there's 3 centers in the league he can't guard. See yall on gameday
NO. He's not a center at all. HE's a PF that can play Center. Same how Bosh was a PF who could play Center. Same how KG was a PF that could play Center. Same how Duncan was a PF that could play Center. Same how Kevin Love is a PF that has played center. Same how Pau was a PF that could play Center. This is basic basketball.

I'm the modern NBA, AD is 100% a center and it's his best position to boot. Literally won a chip with him at that position.

Let's just make up ****

It's not my opinion. But it doesn't matter and yall can say whatever

Truly hilarious that only one person continues to say that some of us believe that coaching doesn't matter when no one in this thread has said that....

If you take ham off this team are magically 2-0 vs the defending champions?

Doubt it.

Ham didn't tell Bron to take a damn 3 with 10 seconds left on the shot clock in a tie game.

I would think the smartest player on the planet would have driven to the basket, especially with his defender on the floor...

But Ham....

[Done w/ the 90’s voice] Man the Lakers bench has been BIG TRASH…. Dinwiddie layups? THATS GAWBAGE…. ON MY MOMMA If Gabe Vincent shoots another big brick….

AD is not a center. When will this be understood?

I agree. But what do you do? Let’s say they get a legit center. You put AD at the 4 to guard Aaron Gordon, Jabari smith, keegan Murray, Tobias Harris etc? He’ll be on the perimeter getting in foul trouble and NOT utilizing his amazing rim protecting and shot altering abilities

I think we need a legit big to back up AD and give us 15 minutes

AD can guard 1-5 on D and able to switch anything

He shines protecting the rim, but he also alters shots and has active hands/steals when he's on the perimeter

He's a PF on OFFENSE

Choose your own adventure:

Option 1) AD defending Joker

Option 2) Axtion Jaxson Hayes defending Joker

I’m more of the mind that the Lakers would be better off finding a more physical PF to guard Gordon while LeBron defends MPJ

AD's jump shot (or lack there of) kinda boxes him and the team to making him a center. I think it's worth exploring playing him next to a brute center, but there are disadvantages to that (slow team footspeed, shrinked floor in offense).

SOMETIMES WE DONT KNOW WHAT WE'RE DOING OUT THERE....

That includes boxing out lmao smh

Crazy part is if Lebron is leaving because of that, we can find unlimited amounts of tape of him giving ZERO effort on defense and blaming another player....
