Thank you for reminding me I'm debating with black and white thinkers.

Y'all dudes see things 2 ways; no middle ground.

Who's tagging in? leemelone? L2B?

Tagging in.

Tagging out.

I'm done with it Ska.

There's no point when middle ground isn't an option.

It's not a good feeling to explain such a simple concept over and over again, and have it continuously mocked and rediculued for being something that it's not.

But I'll just ice up, word to Steve Smith.

Some battles just aren't worth fighting after a certain point.

On to new discussions for me.

Tough loss on the road... hate it ended on a layup. Bulls got 20 more shots than us which is yikes (83:102). Happy for Nick, good seeing him flourish out there. Reminds me a lot of Crawford with his ability to score off the dribble wit the jumper. Hope homie stays for a while. Happy for Pau too, he seems to be having fun out there. Playing more freely and making better decisions with the ball.

How does this loss rank in the tank standings?

Well, Pelicans got back ahead of us, so we're only behind Jazz and Kings out West.

With Heat next, should see that result help as well. Hope Kings and Jazz can pick up wins.

Magic on Friday, I wish, but they damn well aren't tryin to win, they know. And they have a lot of assets to build with.

How long are we contracted to keep Young for? I see him pulling a Jordan Farmar, bailing to try to be a starter elsewhere, and never having that culminate the way he wants.

Every time I look at this bench & role players, out of all the years to have them, it's gotta be this year. :{

Farmar, Marshall, Young, Kelly, Sacre should all be definites back.

Then leaves you with Meeks, Henry, Johnson, Hill

All 4 I'd love to keep. But we know that isn't happening.

If you want to win a title, Meeks & Hill, both fill a distinct role for a contender. Meeks is your knockdown 3point shooter, also he is tailor fit to a rotation with Farmar & Young.

Hill is your hustle man, who will get out there and extend possessions, and has some coherent moves in the post. He can keep the energy up. 16-24minutes a night. Most of the NBA seems to know this as well, that he is never going to start, and if he does it will be limited minutes.

Then you make your move either the draft, or Free Agency, what is left is who you keep out of Henry & Johnson.

He has a player option next year, he'll decline.

But I think he is a bit different than Farmar.

He isn't limited in minutes and opportunity like Farmar was here with the triangle.

I also think despite it being an after thought from players and especially from owners, I think he truly feels some kinship and loyalty to this franchise. That being said if someone offers him $7mil a year he's gone. But if Lakers are competitive with other offers, they can offer him less, and keep him.

The game was crazy! I really wanted lakers to win but oh well. Young looked great out there and from my view kobe kept talking to Kaman the whole time lol

Trade Deadline is officially less than a month away...

Rank of players based on who should be traded
1. Kaman
2. Pau
3. Nash
4. Blake
5. Henry
6. Johnson
7. Hill
8. Meeks
9. Harris (doubtful he's on the team that much longer. Once guys start coming back he will get cut)

Farmar, Marshall, Kobe, Young, Kelly, Sacre all are safe.

Kaman for a 2nd Rounder (Playoff team)
Blake for a 2nd Rounder (Playoff team)
Pau do what you need to, to get a first rounder for him. Most likely scenario is to do this is to link up with Memphis to get him with Marc, and use Z-Bo to a third team to get us back a first.
Nash is 0% of getting traded, but you must try.

Henry, Johnson, Hill, Meeks are guys I want to keep, but if somehow a first comes up for one of them, I do it. Second Round Picks are denied unless it is a Top 5 Second Rounder.

If we can get 1- 1st, 2- 2nds from the deadline, we would have only lost 1 total pick in the draft from 2014-2017.

As much as is it hurts to say it....someone is gonna throw a JR Smith deal at him...in fact, his agent will command it. Im cool with the PG tandem of farmar/marshall next yr as long as we get some adequate bigs(1 back to the basket player and a 7-foot enforcer/garbage man) and one more wing scorer (2 if swaggy departs) and maintain the second unit.

another thing, winning only makes these guys look better meaning that they will ask for more money this offseason

Never got how players parlay these things into long-term deals. Teams have got to be desperate or shortsighted. Someone will obviously put up numbers even on bad teams - they have to get put up somehow.
