have not been here lately. been living in the nfl threads. quick recent thoughts on the lakers.
i understand that there is pro tank guys here but i wonder how many of them have put themselves in the players shoes. those guys are playing for pride and contracts. these guys mentality is not to tank for next year its to show what they got. swaggy has been great and so has kelly. kobe already said he is playing as soon as he can. they might not win another game this season but i can assure that they will give their all. for those reason the lakers will most likely end up with a pick in the 10s. just my thoughts.

the problem i have with some guys claiming these guys are putting their all out there is that these guys are "placeholders". they could care less about that jersey. they are playing hard to stay in the league or get a decent contract elsewhere
management has no long term plan for these scrubs and rejects.
unless they go with the new york knicks west plan none of these guys will get re signed for the long term
