That's not even feasible.

But that would be like a 5-6 seed at best.
I know...that's what I was thinking

Figured i'd bring a little positivity to this thread seeing as how there's not much to be happy about regarding the Lakeshow nowadays, but I recently figured out my old *** Photobucket password and came across this pic.. Hayden Panitierre was sitting directly in front me at a game a few years back (if im not mistaken it was the game where the fan sitting courtside interfered with the ball while someone was trying to save it for those who remember)

Hayden showing me that whale tail, I had no shame taking that picture right in front of my girl at the time :lol

Side note--Hayden is absolutely gorgeous in person, there's no way she's any taller than 5'3.. spinners :evil .... Klitchko must be absolutely DESTROYING her :lol

I don't think Melo is coming. I think he might want to come. But I hope Mitch stands his ground.

Lala was just complaining that she has to pay for her Knicks tickets. Now Mitch knows what to have the box office tell her 8o

Why would Philly pick up Pau.... no sense they aren't contending at all!

I would think a fringe eastern team would take a chance on him... i.e. Wiz, Raps, Bulls, Hawks

I've only see one mention of this and it's traced back to The Latino Post. It also mentions the first-rounder being 2014 which should not be happening.

I'm not even sure if they can trade a 2027 pick :lol and if they can, why the other team would be willing to wait that long for a return :lol

We are not going to be in the Top 10 of the draft every year. Gotta build around Love and Russy through the draft though...

We could afford to give up one 1st rounder around that time in 2027

When was the last time Nick Young passed the ball once he received it from another player?

I can't recall...

i cannot help but think if this guy nick young was on another team laker fans would be clownin his ***

but because hes wearing a laker jersey...

hes gods gift to earth

services rendered with nick young? the lakers dont owe him anything. granted that offer to kobe is still ridiculous but youre comparing that to 18+ years as a laker.

and i dont understand this part. elaborate 8o :

I know they don't owe him but he passed up more cash to play here and it could be a bargaining tool. I'm just reaching on that tho.

As far as the other part, right after Kobe's extension I asked Larry **** on his blog if Pau took a paycut (I think it was 1/3, or whatever the equivalent of Kobe's paycut) would it be possible to keep him, most of our role players and add someone like Deng/Monroe and he said he would have to do the numbers but it might be doable. I'm guessing it's very feasible to do that without Deng/Monroe but he never did follow up :lol.

Lebron/melo are unlikely as well as Deng so Pau is the next best option (short term). Like I've been saying, it's not about what any of us thinks is ideal, it's about the reality of what the front office is doing: building around Kobe for the immediate future and then reloading thru free agency/trades. Apparently they aren't tanking
