Please trade Pau now before he gets hurt again.

Mitch, don't tell me we are trying to resign him after the year........right?

:x

Making myself sick

It seems like there's an influx of anti-draft, anti-tanking articles recently. Lakers PR must be paying these guys off.

Let's hope they are doing that, while they absolutely fall apart and hope not to get "blamed" for tanking.

Best Draft Class in a decade, Lakers "suddenly" fall apart, and land Wiggins, or Jabari, etc, and the rest of the world rolls their eyes and says here we go again. :lol

Witness the Yankees spend less, spend less, spend less, spend less, here's 465 million in the off season for a bunch of meh. :lol

PR all this "We aren't tanking" meanwhile, we truly just suck and can't win games unless we play scrubs like the Magic and Celtics. :lol

I see you Laker PR folks. I ain't mad at cha, but don't **** this up for us, let us get our franchise player and we'll be on our way.

We were 22-19 in 05 and ended up at 10. We damn sure should finish much better than 10 this time. We are way worse now than 05. (Health, lack of star wise)

Nicely done Ecook.

6-4, semi-improved jumper, hustles, rebounds, defends, either guard........can he be Gary Payton lite? 8o

Gary wasn't a polished scorer early on either, but his game grew obviously. But measurables wise, they seem very similar.

The other, maybe more obvious, comparison would be Rondo. Lack of jumper, hustles, defends, heart, do a little everything, intense, etc. But Rondo is one crafty passer, I don't know if Smart will be that, that's why I went with GP first. He was a decent enough PG passer, but not some ultra smooth, Rondo, Nash, Magic type distributor.

I think GP was a better defender at that stage, but the comparison isn't too far off. Also think him and Rondo are/ were quicker than Smart.

seriously need a new medical staff. nearly every single guy is hurt from coming back too soon.

That's not true. Not one guy came back sooner than the timetable a specialist gave them.

Xavier didn't get reinjured. He isn't progressing that's why.

I want the kid to get back, but better to be safe than sorry.

Get him 100%, absolutely no reason to risk him.

(and it keeps his price down this year hopefully :lol )

Lakers Kick game is low key the best in the league (gotta find something to praise

)

Going to my first basketball game in March in LA... played my whole life but never been to a game being from Canada and never cared to when I am in Toronto...

Are the seats behind the net 100 sections any good at the Staples Centre? Any suggestion on which seats are best in that arena?

Doesn't the medical staff set the timetable? Either way they need to stick to the cautious side of it, meaning if it's a 6-9 month timetable, take the full 9 months. By the time kobe gets back from his knee injury it will have been about 9 months since his original Achilles injury....that's a strange coincidence at the very least

Jordan Farmar is hoping to "come back way ahead of schedule" from his hamstring tear.
He's expected to miss all of December with the injury, but at least an ultrasound from earlier in the week has shown some improvements and healing in the muscle. The Lakers are gutted at point guard with Steve Blake (elbow) and Steve Nash (back) hurt, so they'll certainly want him back as soon as possible.

Jordan came back on christmas. and they increased x's workload before they probably should have, given his injury history. But this type of thing goes back further than just this season

Kobe injured himself in April, came back in December. April - December is 8 months. 9 months passed a week ago. I don't see what you're insinuating. That had he waited a month, there was less chance for him to heal. If they rushed Kobe back, he is playing in preseason games. Kobe didn't come back until Kobe himself said he was ready.

Jordan came back when he had significant improvement on his leg. That's how ALL injuries work.
