It does though

If Boston wins & the Lakers lose, they coin flip for the 5th spot.

Seems out of reach with all the players getting rested, but it can make a difference

Boston resting its players ? for what?

League fines pop but a lottery team can rest its players for nothing?

It must feel super wonderful to know we will finish a game behind Boston in the lottery odds, when we came from behind to beat them twice.

Jesus ******* Christ that's brilliant.

They beat our ***** for 45 minutes and then flat out left the floor the final 3 minutes so we could "earn" the W. :smh:

We won the first game in Boston, with no Kobe, no Young, no Farmar, no Blake, no Nash, no Xavier, oh my ******* God I want to kill somebody right now.

Silver, you better save this franchise. We're too ******* stupid to do it ourselves.

Idiots.

Does anyone have the exact math how finishing 1 game ahead/behind affects our lottery odds?

Win = Solidfy sixth worst record in the league
Lose = Possibly tie for fifth worst record in the league if the Celtics win

The Knicks officially signed Lamar Odom today.

If anyone was hurt by Phil going over there and the Lakers not offering him some similar job, this might make you feel a little better.

5, 88 lottery balls .088 1st, .097-2nd, .107-3rd, .261-5th, .360-6th, .084-7th, .004-8th
6, 63 lottery balls .063 1st, .071-2nd, .081-3rd, .439-6th, .305-7th, .040-8th, .001-9th

Since tonight's game makes no difference AT ALL on our lottery chances.

Safe to say we can all come together and root for a Laker W for the first (and last) time this season? :pimp:

Go Lakers!
Swaggy P for 50 points? :nerd:

Basically this, the Celtics have just under 9% chance of getting the #1, 10% the 2nd. Just under 11% of the 3rd, 26% getting 5th, 36% 6th, and so on.

We, have a 6% chance at 1. 7% at 2. 8% at 3, a 44% chance at 6, a 30% at 7, and so on.

1 spot, the percents play in their favors better than ours, basically. Hopefully, we get lucky and they don't.

 resting. For the offseason?

Their front office this season >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> our front office this season.

Spurs front office has made our front office look bad for a while now...even when we were winning titles. They never really had a down year...

this organization loves to hype everything up and raise expectations

then when our .300 team plays like a .300 team people get mad and want to blame people
