I don't think it has anything to do with what the players want. More contractual timing than anything. Moving money around.

Great we know who's replacing Kobe if he actually decides to retire.

The rooks have to be signed before participating in the game on Friday correct?
They could play, but their agents sure as hell would advise against it.

No way in Hell were only just six games better than last year. Say what you want about Hibbert, but one thing For SURE is that he's an elite defender in the paint, that alone probably improve us by 7 games,no more layup drills in the paint.

The play of Lou Williams and Bass could net us a extra 6 off top. Assuming Randle and Russell play up to their potential, Clarkson and Black improving from their rookie seasons, and if we get a semblance of an Impact from Upshaw,Nance,or A.Brown we could potentially be a 39-40 win team, not playoff material but respectable and VAST IMPROVEMENT heading into the Future.

Lol at Tarik black being better than Jordan hill. Dudes on team tank clearly wasn't watching games last year :lol

Tarik Black playing his role and knowing his limitations >> This Jordan Hill who thinks he Dirk ******* Nowitzski [emoji]128517[/emoji][emoji]128517[/emoji][emoji]128553[/emoji]

Exactly! No your role and limitations. Improve your game of course but don't try to turn yourself into something you clearly are not. Hill turned himself into a midrange jump shooter and lowered his motor. I'd rather have the guy thats improving in his role.

Hibbert + Randle + Upshaw + Black + Nance + Sacre isnt a bad front court to rollout with at all.

How many wins did Wiggins bring to the Wolves last year? A second year KD and rookie Russ?

Russell and Randle are exciting upgrades but that doesn't always translate to wins at this stage. And that's perfectly fine.

If we have a terrible season and get another lottery pick we still win in my view.

I think some of us, rightfully or wrongfully, are banking on Kobe putting up numbers that could carry us to 35-45 wins. I just hope the

young players get the necessary experience and win enough so losing the pick to the 6ers doesnt hurt too much. Also, gain the

respect of the next wave of free agents next yr

I hope not because the losing might affect the young players adversely, ala wizards with javale blatche, and young

Based on how Kobe tried putting up numbers last year, I wouldn't expect too many wins based on him either.

I can only hope he tones it down enough so he's not steamrolling the guys that need to develop.

Hibbert seems to have a friendship with kareem so he at least has that going for him. Only one season removed from being a useful player. Last year's team was bad but not as bad as they looked with the injuries and sneak tanking like benching ed in close games, not shooting threes etc. Also we didn't have any legit 7 footers so we just got killed on the glass and interior d in games that would've been otherwise competitive. Lou will is a more consistent /proven nick young and you hope kobe's atrocious shooting was because of his shoulder and not the rinse cycle.

A lot of things would have to go right but I could see this team being better than expected.

We ain't winnin 40 games, in this West.

The only teams we competing with in the West are Minny and Portland.

We'd be lucky to get into Sac-Denver territory.

OKC
GS
SA
Dal
Hou
Grizz
LAC
Pels
Utah
Phoenix
Sac
Den
Minny
LAL
Port

Somethin like this. Give or take a spot.
