I honestly think we should keep Hibbert long term after this season. We can offer a lower 1st year salary, and sweeten it with 7.5% raises as opposed to 4.5%.
Something along the lines of 4 year / $62mil (1st year $14mil)...
Reason being there are only a couple replacements on the market in 2016.
Al Jefferson.. A horrible fit with Randle. Only way I'd sign him is if KD said I'd only come to LA if you sign Al Jeff. Which is as likely as him saying I'll only come to LA if you have Nick Young
Joakim Noah is falling apart. No thanks.
Drummond. RFA he's staying in Detroit
Valanciunas... RFA he's likely staying in Toronto

Hassan Whiteside is a possibility, that I could live with, but if he goes crazy again he costs more than $20mil. That would scare me off a bit.
Al Horford is the only guy who I'd go after, but his max is $26mil. I assume he may come in at around $20-22mil willing to take a paycut to build a contender with better players.

True. I'd rather ease him along. And on one hand. I'd take the higher salary of Hibbert, and just ensure you have 48 minutes of rim protection. Even if Robert eventually passes Hibbert for starting role.
