As far as this other discussion. There's a big difference in crack and cocaine, besides price and social class.
Cocaine is more pure, and crack is mixed with whatever household chemicals handy. It's a lot more than water and baking soda. The other ingredients are deadly by themselves.
Crack is more addictive and you won't find many functioning crackheads. You can be a functional and also casual cocaine user. In the 80's cocaine was a social drug, much like weed.

Unfortunately I have a friend that does coke and he is in a high profile job but he functions everyday....
There truly is a big difference between both, once again not to negate one should be praised over the other (because they are both highly addictive and ruin lives) but if you messing with crack cocaine you are pretty much waiting/wanting to die...
I put heroin and meth in the same category...
Edit: also saw a girl I had a huge crush on in HS strung out on crack, she truly was on some Zombie ish, and cocaine doesn't have you assed out in them streets like that either

The are a couple reason crack is worst than coke, but the major reason is how it is ingested.
Smoking a drug will causes the high to hit the person much quicker, feel more intense, last a shorter time, and have a harsher crash afterwards. This is true with other drugs too.
