Laney 14 dropping as a quickstrike Vol coming soon

That's how they were in 1999. Jordan Brand trying to keep releases as close to the original as possible.
This is a lie. If Jordan brand was trying to stay as close to the originals "as possible" they wouldn't still be releasing this paper pleather on the 13 and 13 low toe cap and they wouldn't only be remastering some sneakers. The leather on the statue nines and infrared lows is trash. And all of the fours released would have Nike Air on the back. It's definitely possible they just don't do it to maximize profit.
Agree.

"As possible" could mean that only one microscopic detail is the same on the retro than it was on the OG, or it could mean that 99.9% of the details on the retros are identical to the OG.

We all found out quite quickly the whole 'remastered' thing was just a gimmick to try and justify the price increase.

so much garbage spewed about how much you're "above" paying retail. #neversettle? i only posted a few times about this. youve been at it for DAYS, especially in the chi 1 thread, where youre getting CLOWNED. get a life. if it aint that serious, why are you the only one hitting the report button, for no infraction at all? there was no namecalling. because yo feelins are hurt son! i was expressing my opinion on your self-entitled lying ways. if you dont like that, get off the forum. nobody has to provide any information to you everytime they respond to your foolishness.

Lol you people are really bothered and mad that Nike gave me what I deserved? One would think I took food or a paycheck from some of you the way you guys are "re-acting". But to answer your question and engage you for a bit, not really I already got what I wanted from Nike. If push comes to shove I'll just trade for my shoe size that fits at one of these sneaker cons or soleXchange events here in NY, Philly, or DC. I am not the only one saying these are not TTS, I just was the one who spoke out against this to Nike and got what I deserved, but you can stay mad.
Just got my 12 in and they def fit tight. I think a 12.5 would be perfect but that size is impossible to find. Ugh not sure what to do now.
Main difference is that @blco02  isn't going around into different threads, complaining and whining about size discrepancies; or threatening Nike and demanding a discount code (again, in different threads); or how it was such an inconvenience to his time... It's your whining, sense of entitlement, and attempt at trolling the threads that upset and irritated people.

Have you ever considered that your true size is actually an 11.5? Common knowledge that Jordan retros fit big, and then became more "true to size" around the teen model numbers.

Maybe you should get your feet sized.  It is possible your size has changed.

In the mean time, to save you further embarrassment, if you get a pair of Kobe or LeBrons, please get them a 1/2 size up from your true size, which I believe is really 11.5.

I guess I'll never understand the sizing issue. I always get 9.5 in all lows and 10 in mids and highs for the last 12 years and have never had an issue, these included. And to get a discount because of sizing.............sizing............WOW! I've seen it all now

They wouldn't put Nike Air on the back of the Oreo's or Columbias etc because the original release didn't have NA on the back.

I got the discount because I bought a Jordan 11 size 11 from NDC in Dec. and it fit they didn't have anymore Jordan XIV in stock and saw in the system when I ordered the Jordan 11 size 11. And the rep admitted the Laney were not TTS and were cut small which was recorded so the manager from Nike had to give me the discount.

Y'all see how I argue and debate on here. Well I did that 10X more with the Nike rep and manager until I got what I wanted. They are not allowed to hang up on you fyi. So they have to listen to you repeat your complaint over and over and I guess they had a long day anyway since most ppl received their shoes yesterday in the mail.

In the end I got what was deserved to me a discount for the inconvenience and not being a satisfied customer with the product. Which was fair.

No they are not these run .5 smaller. Everyone is going up in size because these are cut small Nike even admitted it to me after I called them yesterday and spoke to a manager to make a complaint.
I was responding to his royal lows comment.

Actually tried these on , yup half sz small. Normally a 10 tried 10.5 and was perfect. Still debating on coping or not

LOL.

You know most of you guys call yourself a sneaker head but have never gone too a podiatrists or a foot specialist store

You also have common knowledge things too like most European brands run a bit smaller and narrower. They also say Nike's usually run narrow too.
But you know what annoys the most about shoe manufactures, they list the foot bed size in cm... which you would think is universal.

Either ways like I've stated I'm a true Size 9 Width 2E. Nike doesn't do the whole run of width's on most of their shoes and retro's at that, thats why I play it safe and buy 9.5 and 10s. This is why its pretty annoying why the sneaker game has changed as you can never now go in and try them on and see what fits you.

These Lany 14s run a bit small. Last years 14s ran pretty TTS. For thos of you who can't fit into your TTS that you purchased, I'm sorry for you. You might be able to find someone with another pair DS willing to trade or something. If not these are selling a little over MSRP so you can put a few in your pocket again.

These shoes are so stiff. I thought the blue would be a brighter. I was able to grab two pairs but will return one since I'm not in love with these after trying them on.

Just ordered my 3rd pair.

Gotta work within my budget to get to 4 or 5.

As for the stiffness, they most definitely soften up with time. I was wary of the cushioning because even that was stiff, but it's much better now. Wore them everyday this week thus far. Might rain tomorrow so that'll put an end to that.

blco02 blco02 , I'd imagine they are pretty snug. I say that because I'm in between sizes, 9.5-10, so I just get 10 in anything preferably. And my pair is just slightly less roomy than say my 2013 retro 1s.

Hope that helps.

I am a TTS 11.5. Just got my sz 10 pair in from Nike and WOW these are at least 2 sizes too small. I should have definitely ordered a 12 but they are sold out now. I ring dinged them and called them all kinds of pets and garden tools. After skipping lunch to stay on hold and argue I demanded Nike fly me out to Beaverton and pay for me to eat a steak in Phil's office to make up for my INCONVENIENCE. They quite go for that but we negotiated and they agreed to void FreshJ247's discount code and give it to me. Next time I will be sure to order my incorrect size so I can go through the hassle again.

Bouta return a sz 10.5 if my boy doesn't want em. Normally a 10.5. Even the sz 11 feels a bit tight. Nice shoe regardless, hopefully they loosen up and I get used to the weird feeling around the ankles
