right side tongue is bothering me and something about the swoosh maybe being to close to NIKE and how it sits. I could be wrong though I'm usually good with 3s. Im leaning legit but wait for more opinions. Sorry I can't give a definitive

Legit. Red eyelets nice and visible, jumpman on tongue looks fine, the tongue look nice and even without any jagged edges, and the eprint checks out too.

I have seen slight widow peaks on retail pairs... could this be a manufacture problem on JB's end or a definite red flag?

Depends where the peak is, and how the rest of the shoe is..couldnt find a retro 3 88' quickly but the GM's of those had widow peaks + high elephant print cut on the heel. the majority of shoes with widows peaks are GM now.

Then from this view... the widow peaks are not even noticeable unless you really focus. lol

And on the back of the shoe there is no indication whatsoever of a widow peak... but it's just the front that's off. I have been to acouple of consignment shops to check it and other people's retail pairs and nearly all of them have the same case.

Also, check out this video of the unboxing of a retail pair... I def. see a slight widow peak and this is from nike!

It all really depends. My BC3's from FTL have very slight widows peaks on the toes that I just noticed recently. The true blues are supposed to have widows peaks. Just depends on how bad it is and if other red flags are accompanied by it.

I agree. I noticed some on my 08 BC3's from FTL too! Right on for the input, fam. I am just learning...

Hey man, I've seen first hand widows peaks like the ones pictured on 2 pairs from NDC, a friend got a 10 and 10.5 and the 10's had em but 10.5 didn't.

No one was saying the small peaks on the toe/tongue makes yours fake, we were saying on the fakes the elephant print is twice the height than on retail below the heel tab, along with widows peaks.
