I once had on a pair of Liverpool IX lows and I saw homeless man walk past me wearing the same pair.

Also saw someone's grandmother working in her beaters...which had been a pair of 7's I had been keeping DS

Homeless doesn't mean poor, broke, or without decent/nice things. People find themselves in that situation for a myriad of reasons. 

Back on topic, I'm still waiting to break out my Independance Days and Gator Kings too!

If you can't afford keep yourself clean or put a roof over your head, I'm pretty sure that's the definition of broke. No point in even having nice things with a home or safe place to store them, as a homeless person you'd be an easy target.
