couple more things, how is the tongue supposed to be on the royals? The fabric on mine is the same as the fabric on the knick 1s but different than my black toes and shadows. Is that how it is supposed to be?

They look pretty good to me. Another check you can do if you have both these and the Shadows - I tried both on back-to-back when I picked up my Shadows and noticed the Royals felt a little more substantial when I pulled them open and went to put them on. No huge difference, but definitely noticeable to me at least.
