I can't turn away from this train wreck of a season, just 15 games in

So sad about what Buss has done to this team, from Brown to MDA TO $48 M to Byron, colossal mismanagement

Need to throw in Mitch on that. Can't give Buss blame and Mitch the credit.

Nonetheless, they draft well at least.

When you have an owner who's all in the videos...dancin....he gets the blame. If he empowered Mitch and was merely an owner signing off on moves, then ya I could see blaming Mitch

Jimmy boy is our very own Jerry jones

He is nowhere near the person you are saying he is. He doesn't take spotlight. He actually avoids it. But it doesn't matter anyway, the way the moves are made and how the structure has been described hundreds of times to the media, they do an equal amount of the work. Also if you want to go with what we do know, Jeanie is the one who pushed for Kobe's contract over Mitch & Jim. And also has final say over Mitch & Jim.

But if we do go based on what you're saying Then you must give him credit for drafting. And also give him credit for maintaining flexibility for the team long term and not needlessly spending long term cap or picks for Kobe post-Achilles.

I'm not talking about media spotlight. To me the best owners are in the background and empower smart people to make decisions. I believe the decisions about free agents ,drafting and coaches are basketball decisions that should be made by basketball people. Mitch is a basketball guy, jimmy is not. I don't think jimmy should have a seat at the table, he needs to trust people and be the final sign off on deals

As an owner when he has a seat at the table it's going to be hard for others to disagree with him just out of fear

D'lo's last 5

Getting more and more comfortable out there. He got the keys to the offense last game so you gotta watch out for him from now on. Seeing him wave kobe off and organize the offense is big.

Randle's midrange looked nice. He was starting to knock it down last year but yesterday his form looked better than ever. You can tell he really wants to be an all around player. Still learning to do work without the ball.

Clarkson is clarkson. Putting up similar/better numbers to what he did as a starter last year. 3 ball is very encouraging. Sees plays a second before they develop and attacks automatically, his offensive iq is razor sharp. Complete opposite on the other end, worst defender of the three but at least can play passing lanes. Whatever he puts his mind to, he'll be good at. Not worried about him at all. Possibly may have surpassed the likes of Terrence ross at this point.

Shhhh he's a bust.

Don't think its fair that you continue to say D'lo was the right choice after something happens to Okafor.

Lets be real, if you were picked by Philadelphia you'd probably lose your mind too.
38 minutes for D'lo!!! :eek :eek

Please. More. Of. This.
Yes.

It absolutely is fair... We got guys in here and elsewhere talking about Russell's attitude, his work ethic, he's a diva, and irrelevant **** like his eyebrows being cut. "We should have taken Okafor, look at Russell, diva, doesn't care, is immature."

Yet the guy we were supposed to draft, who isn't actually playing much better than Russell, if we want to look at basketball in you know, both sides of the ball. Is out here getting a gun pulled on him in October.. Doesn't learn his lesson and gets into another fight all over a heckler, after 3 weeks ago recklessly driving 40 mph over the speed limit.

So yes, it absolutely is fair.

As for the second part, about I'd lose my mind on the 76ers.. That's not losing your mind, that's being a ******* idiot. You would think after having a gun pulled on you, you'd be smart enough to learning your lesson. But nah, he doesn't. And if you think I'd be like Okafor as well, you don't know me well. I'm very disciplined in the things I do and don't do. I don't go to clubs, none of that. I don't drink. Didn't do any of it at 18, didn't do it at 21, don't do it at 26.

D'Angelo is playing on a **** team, with a coach that doesn't like him, and there is nothing even remotely similar being said about him.

So absolutely, D'Angelo was the right pick.

Na. He'll learn from all this. He's young and the video being released was the best thing for him. A good wake up call. We all make mistakes so I don't think any of this recent stuff is a big deal.

From a basketball perspective Russell was the right pick. All this other stuff is just a 19 year old getting caught up a little bit. It happens.
